> 3 dayI tried drying this out in the microwave, following the instructions on the bag (1000W = 2 x 6 minutes), and a hole burned in the bag, causing the silica beads to fall out. So now the product is ruined. Otherwise, it seemed to absorb moisture from my car (prior to the failed attempt to dry out the bag).

> 3 dayDefinitely helped with the extra moisture I had in the car during the wet rainy days! One thing to look after is the fine white power/crystals that comes out from the bag.. I dont know from where, but if you just set it on your dark dashboard in your car you will see them, maybe after the silicates absorbs enough moisture it will lump together better.. for the time being I laid my blk bags on a microfiber cloth. The important thing is it really works! * to dry out the absorbed moisture in the bag re-charge, use a kitchen scale, much better than guessing, also, do 2-3 min per side and give the bag a few minutes rest in between after each 5-6min cooking time for the steam to escape... this way the bag wont get burnt and you wont over dry the silicates.

> 3 dayWe live in the Pacific Northwest and moisture builds up in our vehicles, especially when they arent driven regularly. These desiccants are easy to use--just place them where they arent in the way and check occasionally to see if they weigh 650 grams or more, then dry in the oven. Ive dried several of mine repeatedly and theyre good to go again.

> 3 dayAfter finding a bit of mold in our storage area a few months ago, I ordered a bunch of Wisedry dessicants in various sizes. Like the other Wisedry dessicants I ordered, these 500 gram dessicants work very well. The readily absorb moisture recharge fairly easily. The one thing I dislike about these is that unlike the other Wisedry dessicants I ordered, these do not have color changing beads to let you know when they need to be recharged. Instead, the instructions say that when the weight is over 650 grams, they need to recharged. Why do I need to weigh these? Why not use color changing beads like the other ones I have? These work great, but I dislike needing to weigh them to find out if theyre full.

Greater than one weekTo early to tell but I’m guessing it’s going to work! Heavy duty moisture absorbing bags reusable is a plus!

14-06-2025These allowed moisture to accumulate in my airtight containers that are used for pet food storage. They did not work as advertised and ruined some fairly expensive dog food. I would recommend not purchasing these.

> 3 dayI weighed each packet upon receiving them and they both were around 500 grams. Today I checked on the one in my gun safe and it weighed 636 grams. I decided to try a recharge in the microwave on medium power but only 2 minutes in and the pack exploded. Very disappointed by this and wish I could get a replacement.

> 3 dayIf you live in a humid environment, you need these substantial desiccant packs for lock boxes and safes. When they weigh 23 oz (650g) revitalize them in the oven per included directions. Stop possible mold, mildew rust or corrosion by using these desiccant packs.
