> 3 dayI use these for my gym clothes. When Im done working out, I toss them in a big plastic bag with one of these desiccant packs. Helps keep my work backpack from getting smelly. I got two in the pack, one failed after a few days (the seam broke and leaked silica pellets into my bag). The other one seems to be going strong. I have dried it out a few times in the microwave with no drama.

> 3 dayI have items that need to be stored with less humidity, so these Reusable Silicia Gel packets come in handy. It took a while for them to get full and I popped them in the microwave to recharge them. Ill be purchasing more!

> 3 dayPut it in for the lowest amount of time then had it explode. Beads went everywhere, house smells like burnt plastic, now it melted on the plate.

> 3 dayI purchased a two pack of WiseDrys approximately five weeks ago, and have generally been happy with how they reduce moisture where they are placed. However, upon drying one of the packages, the silica beads got too hot and melted, burning two holes in the pouch fabric and destroying the product. It would seem to me the pouch material could be much more durable, it almost has a paper quality to it. My other pouch is still intact after a couple uses, but I’m doubtful it will last much longer either. Updated to add that upon reading this review, the seller reached out and offered me a 100% refund. Kudos to them for doing the right thing. It doesnt change my 2-star review of the product itself, but I felt it was important to add that this is a quality seller.

> 3 dayWell, lets hope my livestock doesnt die! I bought several of these a month ago and one just busted open inside of the feed container ....does that mean that I am about to see dead livestock?! No I have to trash 100lbs of animal feed! VERY UNHAPPY!

> 3 dayWe live in the Pacific Northwest and moisture builds up in our vehicles, especially when they arent driven regularly. These desiccants are easy to use--just place them where they arent in the way and check occasionally to see if they weigh 650 grams or more, then dry in the oven. Ive dried several of mine repeatedly and theyre good to go again.

> 3 dayHeated up in the microwave as directed and upon removing from the microwave after letting it cool off the bag material melted on the bottom and tore the bag, sending hundreds of silca beads through my kitchen. Used duct tape to patch the bag, I dont feel like the bag material is made very sturdy.

> 3 dayBought these for wife’s 21 bronco. We’ve had back windows out, and got rained on several times. Despite having washout interior, still managed to get a mildew smell. Put both of these bags in the cargo area, smell was gone the next day. Couldn’t believe they worked that good and that fast.

> 3 dayI loaded these packs into my safe a few weeks ago and I check the contents yesterday and everything is dry. Before I bought these I had issues with high humidity levels with the documents being somewhat moist with a musty smell.

Greater than one weekAnd, forget about trying to clean this up...I will have beads in my kitchen forever now, and not sure I can save the microwave plate. What a mess. By the way, there were no issues on heating the first side, so I turned it over and heated the second. That is apparently where the issue lies.
