> 3 dayI could never get these things to work and keep any moisture out of my car in Wisconsin. I bought them because other people had said that they worked really well in different states and countries that are cold, but not here. I can’t recommend them because it just doesn’t do anything.

> 3 dayBag will melt and explode inside your microwave. (see pics) Granules melted and destroyed our glass turntable. Yes. I followed the microwave instructions on the outside of this bag.

> 3 dayI threw them in the microwave like it instructed, and all the water evaporated away, partly in the microwave then over the next fifteen minutes outside of the microwave. This is great for my car in the winter to help with internal condensation.

> 3 dayI put one bag per pail of sidewalk salt to keep it from getting hard.Seems to do the job!

Greater than one weekI use these for my gym clothes. When Im done working out, I toss them in a big plastic bag with one of these desiccant packs. Helps keep my work backpack from getting smelly. I got two in the pack, one failed after a few days (the seam broke and leaked silica pellets into my bag). The other one seems to be going strong. I have dried it out a few times in the microwave with no drama.

> 3 dayOnce the packets were full of moisture, I microwaved them for 8 minutes on a microwave-safe plate as directed. I did not notice a large hole had burned through the black casing, so when I removed the plate from the microwave with the packets on it, the burning hot silica beads fell all over me and my stove and floor. They burned my arms and 1 leg where my skin was exposed. (Not blistering burns, but burns that turned red and still hurt an hour later). Thank GOODNESS no child was nearby. I now have a huge mess to cleanup once the silica cools down and my burns no longer hurt too much to go clean up in there.

> 3 dayHeated up in the microwave as directed and upon removing from the microwave after letting it cool off the bag material melted on the bottom and tore the bag, sending hundreds of silca beads through my kitchen. Used duct tape to patch the bag, I dont feel like the bag material is made very sturdy.

> 3 dayProduct broke open and spilled tiny plastic beads all over my car. Lasted a little over a month

Greater than one weekI do like that you can keep using them over and over.

Greater than one weekI followed the instructions to the last detail. Microwave 6 minutes, then turn over and Microwave for 6 minutes more. When I picked it up off the plate in the Microwave both bags burst! Waste of $20!
