This large felting pad is the best tool I have for needle felting! The pad is thick and dense enough to hold its shape and allows me to put it on my lap while I work. I highly recommend this pad.

I like it so much more than the foam mat,the work across the area I was doing seemed more consistent.

I liked the wool buddy initially. I try to be contentious about moving my project frequently so it doesnt felt to the pad, but I feel like even the smallest bit of felting and then moving it leads to pulling on the felt and making the project fuzzy. I also noticed today as I was felting brown wool onto a project that some white remnants were coming up from the pad and sticking in with the brown. But that may be my fault as I havent cleaned it.

Ive worn out 2 foam pads. Several felting artists use wool pads to felt on. I was going to make one, but I would rather spend my time on needle felting sculptures. I like that it is nice and thick. Can clean up stray fibers with lint tape roll. This seems like it will last for many years.

More comfortable felting on larger surface and room to stash extra needles.

This pad works excellent for needle felting. Perfect surface firmness. Easy to pull project item away from it. Pad is easy to clean from any remaining wool fibers. Highly recommend.
