Easy size to use. Nice weight. Guard hairs become an issue with little use.

This mat is the third one I ordered. First one firm- excellent. Dog got it so I had to order second one. That one came super “ squishy” was replaced by company. Replacement better -so year later ordered a third and that one super SQUISHY almost impossible to use….

I’ve tried many types of felting mats, and wool buddy is the best. Easy to felt into, doesn’t come apart and doesn’t get holes in it like some mats. Make sure you don’t felt in the same place, keep moving the mat to keep your surface nice and flat. Highly recommend!

Wool felting.... I like the size of the pad.

Not great for 2D needle felting or painting with wool. I used it for one project and at the end the fibers were so stuck - I had to yank and cut out leaving a poor, deformed cat who looked like she melted in the sun. Other reviews say it works better when you pick your piece up and move it around often which is less than ideal for 2D.

I have been needle felting for several years and have used several different kind of mats. I find Woolbuddy mats to be the best. They last longer, clean up well, and they dont leave off anything on your work. I do recommend this product over other mats and very happy that they are available in a bigger size.
