Xb1 System 500Gb Battlefield

The player was good but it was a bundle. the three month Xbox Gold card that came with the console was a classic microsoft/xbox ripoff. it did not work. go figure. I would never get an on line redeemable item from xbox EVER AGAIN.

Cant give it 5 stars because I bought this bundle on cyber monday as a Christmas gift, I wasnt sure if the 3 months of xbox live gold was inside the box or something but now I know that it wasnt. The Xbox works perfectly fine and my dad enjoys the gift but he never got the live that was supposed to come with it. Other than that the package was fine, just wondering what happened and if Ill ever get the 3 months that was part of the deal

Update from previous review, after playing with the controller for about a week now the button are not responding. The controller seem to be made differently from the previous Xbox one controller. The console works smoothly and runs perfectly, the only reason that Im changing my review is because of the quality of the controller.

I was unaware that you needed to connect to the internet for set up and to have access to all of the games features.

The two hour update should definitely be noted when you have 11 year old boys waiting to play for it after all the family festivities on Xmas.

What can be said that hasnt been said already? I have had no issues connecting a 2TB external drive to manage games and apps, and a 64GB flash drive on the left side which I have all of my P90x videos stored. I probably use my the Xbox to exercise more than anything. I am very pleasantly surprised at how well its fit into our lifestyle. As a side note, an external drive is almost necessary as loading times are abysmal on the internal drive. But I knew this going in which is why I got the 500GB model, just add an external drive its soooo much easier and cheaper. A little background here, I originally purchased the Xbox One w/ Kinect almost a year ago. I mainly purchased this to take full advantage of the 4K features offered by the new console. Not to mention, Mygrowsoft sent me a free adapter to connect my original Kinect to the One S. Very very happy with how seamless that all worked, and free to boot! I have every intention of grabbing the Scorpio when it is released. Just Uber happy with the Xbox products and what they offer.
