These rollers are a vast noise improvement, especially so, because the old ones I removed were 37 years old! Now the only sound is from my garage door opener. These are on a very, very heavy 16 foot garage door! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Word of caution! The bottom rollers on any garage door are under tension, so you-tube the safest way to address their removal. Mine was easy. In the upright position, I disconnected the power to the door for safety and put a 2 x 4 cut to length to relieve the door pressure? The metal cord on the sides should now be loose to the touch. When removing that metal cord, bungie cord it so it does not unravel, while you replace the roller! Then simply put it all back together!

These rollers are very well made. Made a huge improvement on reducing the noise level of door. 30 minutes to install by a diy person.

These matched the 20 year old garage door and we east to install following a Youtube video. Try to open the rails as little as possible to minimize the deformation caused. For the top rollers, bend the rail in a different spots to minimize the risk that the deformations hit rolers on both sides at the same position and get your door stuck.

Replaced the old steel rollers with the new nylon w/bearings. They are quiet and roll really nice so far. Ill buy another set for my other door and replace them as well.

Wow what a great product, i only ordered one set of these because i was skeptical about just how good they would be. After i installed them i was so very pleased i ordered 2 mores sets and now i am very pleased with how easily my doors go up and down. Highly recommend this product and very well made!!

I liked the long stems. They work well with different hinge locations. Pretty blue color makes installation fun. Just joking. So far so good.

I used these rollers to easily replace the steel with exposed bearings rollers on our 32-year old, 16 x 7 garage door. Having sealed bearings, these new rollers should be low or no maintenance. These operate more smoothly than the original steel rollers ever did, their longevity remains to be seen. Still, because the garage door operating noise level is produced mainly by the hinges and the steel door itself, these bearings have no noticeable noise reducing effect. As a side note, I used to use lithium grease, as was often recommended, for the roller bearings, the door hinges, the torsion spring and the top of the chain rail. Over time, this became a very messy lube to use; it was difficult/impossible to adequately clean off the built-up, gunky accumulations. Ive switched to a silicon based, designated garage door lubricant thats easier to use and it doesnt leave an unsightly gunky mess to deal with; well see.
