I always assumed garage doors were supposed to be noisy. After installing these nylon rollers I can say I was wrong. Not sure why I had never heard of replacement garage door rollers before. Now my garage door just needs a new coat of paint to be good as new. **Remember to relieve the spring tension BEFORE removing the bottom bracket!** For me this was as easy as rolling the door to the fully up position. Your door may be different.

So far Im happy with these rollers. Wont really know what they turn out to be for several years. They really quieted the garage doors which is what I wanted.

My garage is now quiet again!!!! These so far have been great, easy to install.

After 20 years in my house I decided my door needed some maintenance. I initially THOUGHT my rollers were metal. Not so. So I purchased these in black. Installation was very easy and I used some garage door lubrication on bearings and shafts post install. I also cleaned the tracks. I then used the lube on the hinges and movement points all around the system. Id say the doors move up and down smoother now. However they still creak a little. My guess would be a 40% reduction in noise. However, my doors werent that loud to begin with. This project was more for regular maintenance. Still, these rollers are good quality and worth the investment in said maintenance.

Rollers seem to be very high quality. Time will tell, but I am optimistic. Door was binding on descent, and very noisy. Watched some videos, lubricated everything that was indicated and replaced the rollers. Back in business. The old rollers were at least 20 years old and metal.

My garage door opener is incredibly quiet, just the hum of the belt but the rollers were clanging. Ya know that sound as it bangs up and down the rails. I installed these and the noise was gone. I was so surprised at how these quieted the door down. If your thinking about it, the do it! They are well worth it. Easy to swap out, just make sure the door is in the up position for the two attached to the cable. No tension in the up position. The rest in the down position.
