> 3 dayMy old door opener died. It was incredibly noisey. The new unit is virtually silent. Since my door is 15 years old I figured I would replace the old steel rollers. Wow what a difference. The door is virtually silent now with only minor creaking when opening or closing. Its so quiet now we open the garage door before our dogs notice. Before you could hear it all through the house. I cant believe I waited so long to do the upgrade.

> 3 dayThe two pictures are the sound levels in the garage raising then lowering the double steel door by new Genie screw drive door opener. One pic is with the 15 year old nylon wheels and one with these new ones. You cant see the difference and i cant hear it. The noise level is dominated by the screw drive. Its not the rollers fault, so i rate them 4 stars for ease of install and apparent quality. Unless you know your roller bearings are shot, listen carefully in the garage for where the loudest noise is really coming from before you get your hopes up.

> 3 dayThese wheels worked great they were fairly easy to install in my garage door runs much smoother now. I suggest watching YouTube videos on how to properly grease all the hinges of your garage door And these wheels. Note dont grease the rubber wheels themselves or the track at the garage door in fact you should maybe clean this with acetone it does not need lubrication because the wheels themselves get lubricated. YouTube recommended alythium spray grease and that seems to work really well.

> 3 dayFor the price, these cant be beat! If you have a noisy garage door these will do the trick. If you are trying to fix a jittery door, make sure you order a set of pulleys as well, as they can be a significant source of noise and vibration.

> 3 dayI had several mismatched garage rollers causing problems with door alignment. These are fairly quiet (as quiet as garage doors get anyway), easy to install and overall a great product. You wont be disappointed as long as you realize this isnt a mute button for garage noise - it just quiets the clank.

> 3 dayInstalled in about an hour. Bought some moly/Teflon grease for it and went to town. Ended up removing the vertical section of the track then lowering the door manually(sectional door, very carefully) and removing the old rollers, then installing them as I went up. The top one needs to be removed to replace. Door doesn’t jerk, clang, or squeal any more and runs smooth as butter. I did have to put some extra moly in the center hinges but this replacement quieted about 80% of it down. My original ones, the bearings inside the wheels were all gummed up and probably the biggest culprit of the noise
