Easy to install and works great but the adhesive seal doesn’t hold well on the ribbon cable side. I placed books on it overnight to ensure a good seal and it still doesn’t hold well. You can feel it pop up when using the iPad.

Perfect fit. Perfect quality. My son broke his school issued iPad screen he used during covid. He threw it out the door and jumped on the screen. Diabolical. The school wanted to charge $90 to replace. He didn’t have that in his piggy bank and why should I be the one to pay for his crimes. This was a GODSEND! I took the kid’s money, ordered the screen and his older sister and I repaired the screen in 20 min. This kid has never tried to break another iPad to keep from doing schoolwork again.

With this kit and a youtube video, it is all you need.

As other reviewers mentioned, there were no instructions included, but it was easy enough to find a relevant YouTube tutorial. My complaint stems from the item itself. Half of the screen wouldn’t register touch at all during installation. We decided to finish installing it to see if it would function better when fully in place; however, the new screen broke when pushing down the edges to secure the adhesive. We would’ve lived with these small cracks (it was still better than what we were replacing), but the touch screen still only functioned on about half of the screen. Overall, it was a total waste of time and money.

No oleophobic coating

I have replaced several iPad digitizer and this one has been the best so far. It’s only been on for about a week, but so far so good.

My screen was cracked but worked fine after replacing it and installing the new one the digitizer did not work but only parts of it.

First screen came loose and had to order another. Over all great for the price and all tools needed are included.

Do not buy this one.

Easiest I screen replacement I’ve done in a while. Screen came with everything didn’t have to swap anything it all worked. I am buying another screen right after this review for the next iPad 5th gen I need to fix.
