Zentop for Black iPad 5 2017 9.7 inch （A1822, A1823） Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly Replacement with Home Button, Camera Bracket, Pre-Installed Adhesive, Tool Repair Kit

This is my second replacement screen for this iPad and I will be reorder the first one I got if I have to replace it again. The home button doesnt always work.

Item arrived in good condition, but the adhesive glue is terrible- I have been constantly propping the screen back into the ipad for the past 2 months. This week, the home button randomly stopped working, so I can no longer get past the home screen. Would not purchase again.

The digitizer did not work properly. The home button did not work at all. We kept the iPad in a child proof case along with a screen protector and one drop, where it landed on the cushioned case and the screen shattered. Horrible purchase. Will not be replacing the screen with this one again.

This screen works perfectly! This is the second time I have replaced the screen on this iPad after the same child has managed to shatter it twice WITH the otter box on! This screen was really easy to install and it works great! It also came with two new tools (already had the others) and they’re both some of my favorites now.

Screen is made vero cheap. Any pressure applied at any point and it will shatter.

With this kit and a youtube video, it is all you need.

The ribbon for the home button was impossible to install and was ripped. Also there was no adhesive on the screen as advertised. No instructions either so you have to youtube it.

This is much, much cheaper that a new iPad. These digitizers work like a new machine. The pre installed adhesive is a must when replacing the screen. The adhesive is good. I recommend keeping additional pressure overnight on the outer rim of the iPad after replacing. It makes it adhere much better.

Arrived as described, very rapid shipping, quality packaging and jam packed with thoughtful extras to make the job a success. I would buy this again, I would recommend it. I forgot to mention in the original review: Keep your original Apple home button or touch ID wont work AND Check out some of the numerous step by step videos on YouTube before embarking on this repair.
