I ordered 2 in a week and both came cracked

Worked as expected. Fixed my daughters cracked glass screen. First time doing it and watched the video numerous times. Better than the $120 a mall kiosk store wanted for it to fix it.

This screen was listed as replacement for my iPad 5th gen A1822 Clearly on the website and box label but was NOT the replacement for my iPad

Unfortunately I broke the first one I ordered, then the next day, the next one arrived - Installed perfectly after my lesson learned on the first one. Delicate but the adhesive is rock solid. Heat gun I think is a big positive to getting this done correctly - this unit (a school iPad) must have been repaired once before as it was missing a screw or two in there and had some 3-rd party adhesive. This setup comes with the right tools and an excellent adhesive in the correct locations. Ill certainly order these again.

I was able to replace the screen. However the Right side of the screen doesn’t have appropriate glue due to which the screen is not completely stuck and exposes a gap. As a result the inner delicate cables got ruptured when my 7 year old son used it.

Don’t but it after a few weeks the screen fouls up now it goes crazy with out touching anything! Junk !

Besides removing the old screen, the easiest apple screen replacement Ive done, since the digitizer and screen are separate. Screen works well, pre installed adhesive is nice. The lower right side doesnt seem to stay glued because the ribbon cables try to push that part of the screen out, but other than that you couldnt tell the difference from a new screen. Only bad side is the finger print home button function doesnt work, so you get pesky reminders about it every time you unlock the device. If you bothered to use your old home button in place of the one that is installed, you could avoid this, button I didnt want the hastle. All in all, exactly what I expected.
