I use this product for my hermit crab tanks! Definitely worth the money! Cleans up like potting soil, very easy!

Perfect. The brick was just what we needed for our tank and was easy to set up and use.

I put this and within 2 days the pets were dead.

Smelled extremely musty and had mold inside the product. Within days it grew mold as well. I would not recommend.

Perfect for our hermit crabs. Much better than sand or some of the other things we have tried that are specifically for reptiles or hermit crabs but ended up being the wrong consistency for our crabs to crawl in. Make sure this is at least twice as deep as your largest crab, they need to be able to bury themselves when they molt. Sadly, we were not told this when we bought our hermit crabs at the mall and were told that an inch of sand was plenty -- so make sure you educate yourself. This comes in a small brick and then you just add water to it and it expands to be plenty for our 10 gallon tank.

Seems like it will work really well. Shouldve gotten 2 though for my crabs 10 gal tank. Cause i didnt pay attention to the size .... My bad
