1x30 inch Leather Honing Strop Belt Super Strop with White Buffing Compound fits 1x30 Powered Belt Sanders

Bought a 2-pack of these. The first belt failed at the seam within the first 5 minutes of use. The second belt stretched out of shape after being used 3 times, about 20 minutes of use total. Used on a Harbor Freight sander. Going back to my previous brand.

Way to loose. Had to adjust tracking to max to get it to stay on the sander. The sanding belts fit perfectly. Don’t think I can recommend this piece. Nicked an edge trying to make due. Not a smooth runner by any means. Trying to shrink the belt now. May have been a waste of $$. Will probably cut it up to make a hand stropping board.

Stretched, vibrated, after using it on about 8 knifes. Seemed to loose its shape (out of round) causing too much vibration, and wooble to get a smooth sharp finished edge. Would not recommend! Low price is not always the best value.

they wont stay on sander

Works great on harbor freight 1x30 belt sander to put finishing touches on sharpened knives. Check online videos to see how its done and be careful! Fastest way to get the sharpest edge possible.

I use this to remove the burr from, and polish the knives that I sharpen. It does both tasks very well.

If it stretches to much soak in salt water for a few hours then lay in sun until dry. It will shrink and be very tight again

Great for using in the honing process of knife sharpening. Just dont track well with my machine (wen 1x30) anymore. Let me clarify, the tracking is straight but it is very bumpy and not consistent or smoove like a normal sanding belt. Not gonna put the blame completely on the belt. Its possible that leaving it in an uninsulated garage cause the properties to change but I wont know until I try other belts.

Makes quick work of stropping,puts a great edge on my carving knifes
