1x30 inch Leather Honing Strop Belt Super Strop with White Buffing Compound fits 1x30 Powered Belt Sanders

Great for using in the honing process of knife sharpening. Just dont track well with my machine (wen 1x30) anymore. Let me clarify, the tracking is straight but it is very bumpy and not consistent or smoove like a normal sanding belt. Not gonna put the blame completely on the belt. Its possible that leaving it in an uninsulated garage cause the properties to change but I wont know until I try other belts.

These work great! Took care of three knives I was fInishing, brought them to a mirror finish, razor blade sharp. 15 minutes.

these make stropping so much easier and makes blades super polish edged. i do leatherwork and if you have issue with it wobbling, you can always soak it in water, then bake it at 150F/65.56C for 60-90min to make it stiffer

I have an inexpensive (Harbor Freight) 1”x30” belt sander. To sharpen a knife razor sharp, I quickly use the 1000grit belt followed by the 2000grit belt and finish the process with the leather Super Stroup. If the knife just needs a touch up then I just use the Super Stroup. I have used it a LOT and it will naturally stretch a bit over time but it’s the quickest and fastest and easiest way I’ve found to put a very sharp edge on a knife.

Actually put a nice edge on my old knives. Not sure what other peoples definition of sharp it by after 2000 grit and this belt it would shave arm hairs and thats really good to me. Be careful not to stretch the belt out too much though, I had to max out my tensioner.

I don’t have any experience to review the quality or durability of this belt. The product shipped quickly. When first using, I had a tray of water to cool plane blade while sharpening with sandpaper next to belt sander. I accidentally, when handling leather belt I dipped about 3 inches of belt in the water. This caused belt in that area to shrink and distort. I called Pro Sharpening and asked Jesse if he knew of any remedy. He offered to send me a replacement belt at no charge. How great was that?! Just received it a few days later. Thank you, Jesse

These leather belts are superb. Used them a ton. Had one to break but it was my fault,called the folks at super strop and told them so. They not only replaced the broken belt but sent me another as well!! THANKS SUPER STROP!!
