Works great on my harbor freight belt sander. Comes with enough compound to last a year or more. Good quality leather that seems as if its going to last quite a while. This is written after about 4 months of pretty regular (almost daily) use. Really takes the work out of stropping.

these are junk do not buy, i sent a message to this co. and they blamed harbor freight sander, i told him that i don’t use harbor freight tolls and sent a pic of the sander with the stretched belt that causes the sander to stop as the tensioner gets bottomed out he said he sorry and will send two more out the same thing happened even with putting one on the sander and just turning it on and it jammed amazon has helped me with a full refund, and i need to say thank you for protecting me from getting junk as amazon has always helped me.

I had to run the kitchen knife for about 3 - 4 times. It came out pretty sharp!! However the belt itself got slightly darker in the process. Not sure if thats a problem or not. I will try to post more updates / pictures as I continue using this.

Holds polishing compound better than the competition and does a great job honing knives.

I havent had to sharpen my benchmade folder since buying it a few years ago (m90 steel) but I have stropped it a few times manually. I bought this leather belt to power strop using my cheapo 1x30. Stropping alone didnt really restore the edge. I threw a 600 grit belt on, did a few quick swipes, then with the leather belt using the included white compound and holy moly...shaving sharp in literally a minute or so... The belt seems to be high quality; I was looking to see how it is joined at a seam and cant really tell. Excellent buy!

I think i read somewhere that they ship them somewhat short to compensate for stretch. They might have meant to compensate for someone not knowing how to measure and/or to save money. Not close to 30 and if they stretch any they will disappear. I am not sure why they even put the compounds in a cardboard container as they are useless. I just cut them off. I will get some use out of them but ehhh.

The initial use is 5 stars. After using it, the leather stretched out. It bottoms out on the frame and it wont track if I back it off. I just soaked it to force it to shrink. I think it would be beneficial to have some type of backing on it. I might try to put an old belt under it.

Belt stretched on second use. Now rubs the housing of the sander then flies off because it’s too loose. Got the belt wet to shrink it. Stretched out on next try. Can’t use it at all.
