they wont stay on sander

This stropping belt will soon be too stretched out to use. I saw a knife maker in a youtube video turn an old belt inside out, put the compound on it and use it for a strop. When my leather belt is too stretched to stay on the wheels, that’s what I’ll do.

Very pleased with the performance. At the price it’s a no brainer. Glad I bought it.

Great for using in the honing process of knife sharpening. Just dont track well with my machine (wen 1x30) anymore. Let me clarify, the tracking is straight but it is very bumpy and not consistent or smoove like a normal sanding belt. Not gonna put the blame completely on the belt. Its possible that leaving it in an uninsulated garage cause the properties to change but I wont know until I try other belts.

Bought a 2-pack of these. The first belt failed at the seam within the first 5 minutes of use. The second belt stretched out of shape after being used 3 times, about 20 minutes of use total. Used on a Harbor Freight sander. Going back to my previous brand.

Broke on firat pass, AVOID wasted my money.

I strop my knives. This makes it super fast and easy. Didnt like the compound for the belt that came with it. I use my own green compound.
