> 24 hourThis thing is extremely ugly and will make you look poor to passersby, but if you need it, you need it. Youve got a funky window and want to exhaust something through it -- this will get the job done, albeit not quietly. Flippity, flappity. But central air just costs too much. Recommend.

> 24 hourThis took me several tries to install it properly, even with the included instructions and watching the video. Once I did get it in correctly, it works perfectly well.

> 24 hourI think I got the wrong size but doesn’t bother me too much lol it works great and not too difficult to install just follow the directions carefully. I didn’t think I could have an ac unit bc of the casement windows but it’s worked great!

> 24 hourI use this for my sliding glass door. It was a few inches too tall but I solved that with two folds and some packing tape near the bottom as I didnt want to put adhesive on the wood flooring. The seal is pretty much perfect. You wont get a perfect seal around the exhaust pipe, but you will everywhere else. I greatly prefer this solution to the more common plastic extendable sleeves. They are often cheaply made, unreliable, and more expensive. The zipper solution here ensures that youll be able to fit any exhaust pipe through it, and the lighter material means youre not totally SOL if its not a perfect fit. While its certainly not pretty, it kept my apartment ~5 cooler and thats all I care about.

> 24 hourWe bought a new house, immediately moved in and a month later had our first baby. On top of all this commotion the water heater broke and flooded the house. Needless to say we were stressed as was our piggy bank. Flash forward and the weather starts heating up. We knew this house had no air conditioning and not a single ceiling fan in sight but the casement windows were a surprise. We rushed to find a solution to utilize our standing air conditioning and keep our baby cool. This product did just that! Takes a moment to read the directions and conceptualize the application especially for us since our windows crank out but once we figured it out, it worked perfectly. I was worried about a complete seal especially with the rain but weve had some major thunderstorms lately and theres been no issue whatsoever. We have since hired a company to install wall split units but until then this product saved us time, money, and stress. Thank you!

> 24 hourI bought this after freezing all winter to accommodate a vent in an outward-opening casement window in my basement. Prior to buying this, the room would be FREEZING with the window cracked just enough to accommodate the 4 vent, even with blinds drawn and insulated blackout curtains. This thing is incredibly effective at keeping out the cold! The material of the seal is thin, but it can be 30°F out and my room is as warm as if the window were shut. Very impressed. Im still using the blinds and curtains for light control-- YMMV if you used it in a bare window. Havent owned it through hot temperatures yet, but so far very pleased with the purchase. Install was easy. Have not noticed any water or critters getting in, despite it being in a deep window well.

> 24 hourI have never written an Amazon review before but this thing is an amazing find. We’ve had casement windows and no AC my whole life. Last year I finally decided to get a portable AC and rigged it up with plastic taped to a screen, which worked well for maybe a couple weeks before it started falling apart. This year I found the Hoomee window seal and I think it’s going to solve my problem. I just installed it, and it required a few modifications for my window but even with that it didn’t take very long and it was pretty straightforward (with the Youtube tutorial). It has been working great so far in the first day, but I gave it 4 stars for now and I will update later in the summer when it’s hotter and the thing has been up for a while (for context I live in CT, so not much constant heat but a lot of humidity and the occasional heat wave in the upper 90s)

> 24 hourI have an outward opening window. It is old and was not properly painted when it was installed. I had to adjust how I attached the Velcro to the frame due to the paint issues and all the crazy little trim accents that arent wide enough for the Velcro. But, it has worked great. There have been several bad rainstorms and only a tiny little bit of water has made it in. And that water stayed in the window opening. I did not close the window for any of the storms. Im impressed with the ease of installation and quality so far. Ive had it installed for 3 weeks now.

> 24 hourI purchased this product with my fingers crossed it would work in a portable AC exhaust hose application in my travel trailer/toy hauler. As with most toy haulers there is a horizontal type casement window in garage area that opens from the bottom. This product was very easy to install with very simple slight modifications made in the latching area. It performs perfectly!! I’m even able to close the window when not in use without having to remove the product. For the price I am completely blown away how effective it is. I would highly recommend to anyone!!!
