> 3 dayIm happy with buying it. The window in one room of our house can not install window AC. We think to change the window. But this is too expensive.I came to my friends house, and I saw she bought a portable air conditioner. It looked very nice and I made up my mind to buy one too. It can good fit our window. Our new portable AC came quickly, but to my disappointment, the panel kits cannot work well for our window. Hot air would come back inside the room, making the bedroom uncomfortably hot and humid. Personally speaking, I dont feel too much the temperature dropped. I bought this window seal. It seems to be high quality but helped immensely, it keeps the windows completely closed throughout my bedroom. I can sleep so much better from then on. Its as our expectations in mind and we have been totally satisfied. By the way, if you are an extreme environmentalist like me, you would find it is a good choice to save the energy. Very creative product.

> 3 dayFor several years I struggled with the problem of effectively sealing my double French window in order to vent my portable AC. Best I could do was cut to fit and wrestle into place a gi-normous piece of cardboard cut from a shipping box to cover the full window frame. Blocked the light, less than airtight, and really, really Ugly. This is a simple, low tech solution. The double-access zipper tags (intended for 2-hose ACs), allow for a hand to reach out to adjust and reposition the (single) vent hoses snout when necessary while maintaining a grip on the hose. While not exactly an aesthetic ideal, the strip of white fabric is far more discreet than cardboard, only one side of the window is open, just enough to accommodate the width of the hose. The curtains remain in place, I have daylight, and the street view is barely noticeable. And, yes(!), the AC cools efficiently. Because it had to line the top of the one open side of the window as well as the vertical gap between the two, it took nearly the whole length of the fabric, with only inches to spare. I am in a drought area, so had only one wind/rain event in several months, but it held up to it. Once the weather cooled and the AC stored, I had to also remove the hook strip of the velcro to be able to close the window normally. It lost most of its sticky, so may have to buy/cut some new next time.

> 3 dayIt was a little tricky to install but now that it is in it is perfect except for some additional material so it is a little messy on the inside but it is in our bedroom so only we see it.

> 3 dayThis is my second time purchasing from this company and they do not disappoint. Just make sure to measure your window correctly and you shouldn’t have a problem with putting and installing these into your window. Also take a note about where you want to put your Velcro, as removing it can strip the paint from your trim so you wanna do it correctly the first time. However I’ve had many a person comment on the ingenuity for the roll out windows in my area and I don’t have to suffer the summer months.

> 3 dayWhat can I say? It works! The installation went exactly like the video for me. Just attach the Velcro to your window and then stick on the HooMee. You need to read the instructions a little carefully when laying out the fabric to make sure youre attaching the right side to the right part of your window, but its fine. I cant speak really to how efficiently it insulates from the outside hot air, but it definitely keeps the exhaust outside so that my apartment doesnt heat up from AC exhaust while the AC is running. Its relatively easy to unstick from the Velcro when I just want to open my window. Or I can unzip it and open my window with it hanging off the window.

> 3 daySeller very good customer service. Provided contact of needed prior to product arrival. Watch the you tube to install. Very helpful! Pretty easy once you line it up. Works as advertised. Used all season never had to remove. Pretty good even when exposed to weather.

> 3 dayI have regular, sliding windows. But the windows are tall. The window kit that came with my portable Frigidaire a/c wasnt tall enough to cover the entire window opening. After looking and looking, I nearly gave up and was about to spend hundreds of dollars to ask a professional to come solve this for me. And then I found this product. Decided to try it given the 5-star reviews and low price, and voila! It worked better than the standard window kit. Its now been a week, and my a/c is working exceptionally well. The cloth is plastic, and is air-tight. Fits nearly any kind of window. Buy this before you lose hope on how to install your window kit for your a/c. Installation time for me took a little longer than most (~30 mins), since the shape of this is not a rectangle, but my window opening was (regular sliding window). I just let the cloth hang a bit where there was extra. Worked out fine and the seal is still holding. Would HIGHLY reocmmend

> 3 dayI like that it was easy to put up, however, I would of prefer d a metal insert as I am 81 and it would have been easier for me, my grand son ordered this for me, it works is all I care.

> 3 dayIt took me quite a while to figure out how to install this in my outward opening crank window. But finally I did. The directions werent all that clear - maybe some actual pictures of how it should go would help. Even the video didnt have pictures, just a line showing where to put the velcro, and nothing for the fabric part. The fabric is a bit too big for my window so I have to deal with that somehow but for now, its up, the AC hose is out and it works fine. Im a bit concerned how it will hold up to wind blowing towards it, as most of the wind here comes from the direction that will stress it. But so far, so good. And also fingers crossed the glue on the velcro doesnt damage the paint when we move (were renting). But it was that or suffer with heat and humidity. The only other option in places like this would be a specially constructed thing, so Im glad I found this and hope it stays on and doesnt rip in the wind.
