Had a small issue with the velcrow - clearly on me as I was no expert installer it turns out - their customer service was superb and the installation is now complete and working as anticipated!

I bought this as a way to vent a laser cutter exhaust outside. My casement windows open outward, so had to think a bit when installing. Initially I had the 3 vent a few inches from the bottom of the window with the zippers holding it up. It was below freezing outside. This caused the double sided tape to pull off the frame. I added more tape and moved the vent pipe lower so less pull. Works great now. I was able to install in such a manner that I can even put the screen back in the window and use if I unzip the seal.

I have an outward opening window. It is old and was not properly painted when it was installed. I had to adjust how I attached the Velcro to the frame due to the paint issues and all the crazy little trim accents that arent wide enough for the Velcro. But, it has worked great. There have been several bad rainstorms and only a tiny little bit of water has made it in. And that water stayed in the window opening. I did not close the window for any of the storms. Im impressed with the ease of installation and quality so far. Ive had it installed for 3 weeks now.

This took me several tries to install it properly, even with the included instructions and watching the video. Once I did get it in correctly, it works perfectly well.

Installed it during a heatwave and was hopeful that it would work. Unfortunately the seal is not airtight (not surprising as velcro is not airtight.) Our building is designed so that when the windows open the air pressure causes air to rush in, so perhaps that makes it worse. We taped up the entire thing (on both sides of the seal) with vent tape (like metallic duct tape) and that made a huge difference.

Horrible directions. Had to watch the video 20x. Still think it was wrong. If you live where it downpours, itll start leaking through the Velcro and soak your floor.

I use this for my sliding glass door. It was a few inches too tall but I solved that with two folds and some packing tape near the bottom as I didnt want to put adhesive on the wood flooring. The seal is pretty much perfect. You wont get a perfect seal around the exhaust pipe, but you will everywhere else. I greatly prefer this solution to the more common plastic extendable sleeves. They are often cheaply made, unreliable, and more expensive. The zipper solution here ensures that youll be able to fit any exhaust pipe through it, and the lighter material means youre not totally SOL if its not a perfect fit. While its certainly not pretty, it kept my apartment ~5 cooler and thats all I care about.

Edit 7/9/2018: We have been having a crazy heat wave in L.A. and I have to say this has worked fine! I keep checking and the fabric is not leaking hot air into my apartment and so far so good! I just installed this in my Living room. I have large 5 tall windows that slide open. The plastic window mount that comes with the AC isnt tall enough, but Ive managed to rig it until the L.A. summer sun deteriorated the plastic. This installed fairly easy, but I wasnt sure how well it would work since it just fabric. It seemed like the hot air will just blow threw it, but it did not. I am actually going to buy another for my bedroom portable unit.

I was so excited to receive this as our bedroom gets hot and we have a crank window. It was okay to install, didn’t give a tight seal because of how are window was idk? It lasted a good month before it fell down, in ND, it gets hot AF, and humid, the stickiness of the Velcro came off and I gave up
