Greater than one weekThis took me several tries to install it properly, even with the included instructions and watching the video. Once I did get it in correctly, it works perfectly well.

> 3 dayUsed this product on our roll-out window along with a new portable AC unit to keep our upstairs sons room cool during the on-going heatwave this summer. It works great and it took less than 20 minutes to install. Seller follows up with helpful tips to make sure the window seal is working as intended...wonderful customer service!

> 3 dayI’m staying pretty neutral on my stars. I was going to say this wasn’t easy to put up nor is it convenient to be in a doorway but I realized after reading other reviews they sent me a window one in a door way package! Whoops! I got it up there with some tucking and pulling but I can’t use my door anymore, other than that, it works! Used some duct tape to keep the bugs out

Greater than one weekThis was relatively easy to install. I have an old crank/casement window that opens out. It also has slight dome shape to it that I was worried might cause some issues, and it’s pretty small so I wasn’t sure it would work at all. I put the Velcro on all four sides of the frame and window, and discovered that the fabric would go all the way around the four sides of my window, with the narrow ends overlapping (I sort of tucked one behind the other and used leftover Velcro to prevent any leaks). I also had to make a few ticks of the Velcro on the frame side as it had extra length. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and the upper floor (where my bedroom is) has no insulation so it gets about ten to twenty degrees hotter than the outside temperature on warm days. I’ve had the new portable AC going for a couple hours and it’s actually tolerable to be in. Hoping that starting the AC earlier in the day will help keep it nice on our hot days. So far, this adapter works great.

> 3 dayI use this for my sliding glass door. It was a few inches too tall but I solved that with two folds and some packing tape near the bottom as I didnt want to put adhesive on the wood flooring. The seal is pretty much perfect. You wont get a perfect seal around the exhaust pipe, but you will everywhere else. I greatly prefer this solution to the more common plastic extendable sleeves. They are often cheaply made, unreliable, and more expensive. The zipper solution here ensures that youll be able to fit any exhaust pipe through it, and the lighter material means youre not totally SOL if its not a perfect fit. While its certainly not pretty, it kept my apartment ~5 cooler and thats all I care about.

> 3 dayAfter some reviews said they couldn’t make this work for crank out casement windows, I was hesitant, but thought I’d give it a try. This was so easy to install. I ordered slightly larger than the window opening and had to overlap the ends, still there was plenty of hook and loop tape. I needed to vent a portable ac unit for my parents, who have never had ac before and were concerned about damaging their windows. This was a great solution, especially because it will be easy to remove the fabric pieces but the hook and loop tape can stay all year. Can’t speak to durability since we just put it up. So far, Great product.
