> 3 dayIt was a little tricky to install but now that it is in it is perfect except for some additional material so it is a little messy on the inside but it is in our bedroom so only we see it.

> 3 dayI was so excited to receive this as our bedroom gets hot and we have a crank window. It was okay to install, didn’t give a tight seal because of how are window was idk? It lasted a good month before it fell down, in ND, it gets hot AF, and humid, the stickiness of the Velcro came off and I gave up

> 3 dayI discovered this product when I did a search for portable AC window kits that worked with crank windows. It was a DIY blog that suggested this as an option and so I had to see for myself. As a renter I needed something that would not involve drills and affixing plexi glass to windows so this was my best option. So with the installation video on repeat I was able to figure out how to install the kit no problem. As a whole the window kit absolutely serves its purpose the only downside is that if you live in a very city, i.e. traffic and construction noise etc. it is loud. I cant leave the hose in and window open with the kit because it is like having the window open essentially. Even when the exhaust hose in and the AC unit is on, I do hear street noise which is a bummer. Anyway, if you live somewhere quiet, this is a great option. If you live somewhere busy, itll work but note that you will hear outside noise so long as the window is open.

Greater than one weekI was skeptical when I bought this because it just seemed too easy. When I opened up the package, I was still skeptical because of how flimsy and thin the product was. The instructions seemed easy. In fact the easiest part was putting the velcro on the window and pane. Putting the actual product onto the velcro, now that was a different story. It was a struggle, but I was able to get everything in place the way it should be. When I finally put the hose into the product, thats where my first problem came up. The seal around the hose, even with the zip ties, was not good. I had to add duct tape and a wrap it around twice in order for me to complete the seal properly. The velcro lock around most of the window was perfect, but some of the velcro itself came off the pane. Along the corners, keeping the velcro and product together is a challenge. To be honest, Ive only had this set up for about a week, but so far it has been a very positive experience. 90° weather has not been an impact.

> 3 dayI was worried that the seal wouldnt fit my window for some reason and that I would run into some kind of problem with the install, but everything went smoothly and the product works as described.

Greater than one weekMy central air conditioning failed and its going to be several weeks before the replacement arrives. I was in a pinch with the heat wave, and my apartment windows open out, not up meaning I need some way to seal them off. Luckily, I found this because it is the only way that its possible to use a portable air conditioner in my apartment. Assembly was easy enough. The video is more useful than the included documentation. Im grateful this product exists. I bought a couple so that I can just wheel the portable between rooms for now.

> 3 dayWe only have a door in one area of our house (family room), which never allowed for us to use our portable air conditioner. Thought we would try this to allow to cool us down during the summer months. While it doesn’t fit perfectly on our door (which others reviews noted) it works perfectly!
