> 24 hourI tried to use this for my window. It didnt work well, but thats not because the product is faulty. Since I live in an apartment, I couldnt use the Velcro that came with this. I think the wall/window in my apartment is slippery. I tried using duct tape and the duct tape kept coming off. Ended up having to throw this away since the duct tape made a lot of damage.

> 24 hourMy central air conditioning failed and its going to be several weeks before the replacement arrives. I was in a pinch with the heat wave, and my apartment windows open out, not up meaning I need some way to seal them off. Luckily, I found this because it is the only way that its possible to use a portable air conditioner in my apartment. Assembly was easy enough. The video is more useful than the included documentation. Im grateful this product exists. I bought a couple so that I can just wheel the portable between rooms for now.

> 24 hourOk, yes it took me over an hour to install and I’m glad I didn’t rush it, turned out perfect. I have a portable a/c in the living room of our condo but was never able to use it in the bedroom do to the window being outward facing, no way to vent the hot air out and close off the rest of the window. Just bought a dual hose a/c from the neighbor who is moving (75 bucks, nice!) and found this kit on amazon. It actually installs, functions and finishes better than the description and pictures. Cold enough to need an extra blanket in July, love it. Now I’m on a hunt to find another deal on a dual hose a/c to replace our single hose a/c in the living room. Absolutely no comparison no matter what btu rating the single hose unit is, mine is 14000. Never buy a single hose a/c!

> 24 hourCant really goof it up. If youve sewn material it helps understand how the fabric flows. You can reposition if needed. The video sold this for me and the instructions are worth reading several times. My window has the crank on the frame which is different. Good thing the instructions that I followed mentioned outside opening windows and I figured out to put the sticky velcro tape on the narrow perpendicular frame along with putting it on the window frame. Is working great and really a godsend. We needed this in an exercise room in this awful heat when our air conditioner went out (for good) so we bought a mobile air conditioner. We will closing it often after using the room and it will allow the hose to pull out and close the window easily with the zipper. I dont know how it could be designed better unless an accordion type rigid custom thing was made for your window. And then more security issues. So we love it!

> 24 hourThis is my second time purchasing from this company and they do not disappoint. Just make sure to measure your window correctly and you shouldn’t have a problem with putting and installing these into your window. Also take a note about where you want to put your Velcro, as removing it can strip the paint from your trim so you wanna do it correctly the first time. However I’ve had many a person comment on the ingenuity for the roll out windows in my area and I don’t have to suffer the summer months.

> 24 hourAt first he didnt want it, but we keep insisting. Putting it together in a hot room is awful puts me in a bad mood. No ones talks to me when Im tinkering. But now hes glad to have AC in that weird crank window, lol. After I got the right window kit & portable AC it was easy.

> 24 hourProduct works as expected. I have a vertical window that cranks outward w a lever window latch/lock. The Velcro was easy to install and clip/work around window hardware. Velcro is sturdy and holds in place really well. For my style of window there is too much fabric to close the window and latch it closed 100% so I take the insert down each night and put it back up in about 15 seconds each morning. The double zipper is nice but seem extra at least for my style AC unit. Would buy again for a quick and inexpensive solution for portable ACs

> 24 hourI had resigned myself to getting a swamp cooler for my room as I have a very old window (think 1920s built house), which opens in a way that looks near impossible to fit any kind A/C unit there. However, searching the internet, I saw this neat window seal and it saved me from the 90 degree weather we get in Southern California on occasion. Its really such a life saver. As for application, its a bit daunting, and I wish there were multiple manuals, video or otherwise, available for the different window types, but its easy enough with some messing around. My advice would be to make sure that youre able to fit the velcro strips in a way that will enable you to close your window still in case, since not all nights will be scorching. That and order the correct size, as I failed to do so on the first trial. Great customer service, and again, I really appreciate this product.
