4,500 Sq.Ft Energy Star Dehumidifier for Basement with Drain Hose, 52 Pint DryTank Dehumidifiers for Home Large Room, Intelligent Humidity Control

I had a few questions with the dehumidifier and the customer care team has been wonderful at answering my questions. This is the second one!! I got some contractors here working a bathroom remodeling and when they come down to the basement for electricity switch or water shutting off, they complained why there is so much static in the basement… lol.

So far, I havent had any issues. It really does pull the water out of the air on humid days. The tank fills up, and Im shocked by how much water Im left pouring out. Due to our setup Im not currently able to use the auto empting feature with the hose, but my purchase did include a hose. Also, please make sure to open the tank before first use, because there was a piece packaged in there for the automatic drain feature. My only suggestion might be to find a way make the tank easier to remove. It was a bit awkward to get out while trying not to spill, especially when full and heavy. Other than that this is a life saver. The real test will be during the consistently higher humid summer days. I would and may purchase again.

The unit is smaller than I though it would be for the capacity it delivers. Also much more quiet than the Frigidaire model we had that lasted barely past the warranty period. So far, very happy with this purchase!

Especially like the fact that you could hook it directly to a drain. Also, if you chose to use the bucket, it shuts off automatically when full.

This dehumidifier is hands-down, the best you can get! I bought three different dehumidifier for my basement, and this one is absolutely the best. It’s much quieter than all the others, there are no rattling plastic, simple and easy to use! But out of everything the best thing is that it collects almost twice as much water as the other units! I paid full price for this on Amazon and nobody’s paying me to write this review. Yes, it’s that good!

I’ve only been running this unit for 5 days now. But in those 5 days it has managed to keep the humidity in my 2200sqft home at around 55% which is an extremely noticeable difference from the 70%+ it had been consistently sitting at. I run it pretty much non stop and empty canister about once every 10-12 hrs. Its super quiet and doesn’t put off nearly as much hot air as I was expecting. I am very happy so far with this unit and I hope it continues to perform well over time.

Well protected and arrived with no damage. The unit is extremely quiet even with the fan at high speed. The unit is also very compact compared to my old unit. It also seems to get good ratings relative to other units.

I’ve had it under a month. Seems to work like a de-humidifier should work. Good size bucket. Extremely quiet, nice features, good look. Hope this helps.
