> 3 dayThese work great for curious toddlers and look good too! Some of them arrived a little stuck in the closed position, but move freely once given a nudge with a flat head screwdriver. I ordered one pack and liked them so much I ordered a second to do more outlets. They cost a good bit more than the standard push in covers, but look and function SO much better. These did have a foam gasket on the back side to seal out drafts just like another brand mentioned, but these are cheaper. I havent had any problems with plugs not staying in or missing screws as some other reviewers have mentioned. Very satisfied! No more frustration from the push in style for me! **On a side note: some of the outlets in our house were cream colored and others were white; we wanted to change them all to white to match, and these prevented me from having to install new outlets. = Very happy husband with a now smaller honey do list.

> 3 dayWe recently had to buy a TON of outlet covers for our toddler. When I purchased them, the cashier (who was a mom) told me that her toddlers new favorite thing is to pull whats plugged in OUT, leaving them exposed. Problem solved since this outlet cover automatically covers! GENIUS! I did deduct one star because some of my electronics wont stay plugged in. Not sure if too heavy or prongs arent as long but my Echo Dot pops right out. Just a heads up for anyone buying!

> 3 dayThis product is horrible, yes it covers the outlet like it should but then you literally cant plug anything into the outlet. It makes the plug so loose that anytime you plug anything in within 2 seconds its popped out and on the floor not charging. Id rather have the annoying old fashion plastic baby outlet covers that are impossible to get off then this because once those are off atleast you have a usable outlet!

Greater than one weekI love that the cover slides closed after a plug is pulled, so that my little one can pull out a plug and can’t put it back in. (Kids and cords…why?) Also a big plus of covering up the old tan plugs.

> 3 dayThese do not allow items to be plugged in even by adults and from other reviews I would say doing so would be a FIRE HAZARD. However, since I bought these for outlets I don’t intend to use, it’s actually exactly what we needed! I even installed them upside down for good measure in case he decided to slide the panels. The holes no longer line up with anything but solid plastic. My toddler recently figured out that he could pull our original covers away from the wall and even managed to snap one! These covers are extremely sturdy, CANNOT be manipulated away from the wall... and don’t even require safety plugs, which he sometimes pulled out of the original plates anyway.

Greater than one weekI like to use these in place of the wall socket plugs as they are so difficult to remove. I use these where we tend to plug stuff in more often. The only issue I have come across is for some things that I plug in the slide pushes the plug back out a little so it isnt fully plugged in.

> 3 dayWe love these! We had bought all those annoying outlet plugs to keep our baby from jamming stuff in the outlets, but what we quickly realized is that its a pain to take them out to vacuum, and then remember to put them back in afterwards. These covers are SO much better. We bought six for his nursery, and now we are going to buy them for the rest of the house. I read previous reviews, and I also wanted to add that I do not have any problems with things not plugging in all the way with these covers. They work just like a regular cover. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayBought these covers to help deter my child from the outlets. Installation was a bit cumbersome as the foam has to be placed just right. I also had to adjust some of the outlet receptacles into the wall, but thats more of an installation issue than the product.

> 3 daySo my son figured out how to unplug things from sockets. Yes, we have the nifty socket inserts for ones you arent using, and hes left those alone so far. But Im talking cords, night lights, etc. Of course, cords have all since been hidden. But how do you lock in a night light or similar things that the baby loves to unplug, yet needs to stay plugged in? We havent come up with a solution that isnt gluing the item to the wall, but these are the next best thing. When he finds something he loves to unplug, it shuts safely afterward so he cant get a finger in the newly opened socket. Super easy to install. I appreciate the longer screws it comes with, since this item is thicker than a regular socket plate. Definitely recommend!
