> 3 dayI like to use these in place of the wall socket plugs as they are so difficult to remove. I use these where we tend to plug stuff in more often. The only issue I have come across is for some things that I plug in the slide pushes the plug back out a little so it isnt fully plugged in.

> 3 dayThey look great and keep my baby safe but when I actually want to plug something in (vacuum for example) it falls out of the socket so easily.

> 3 daySo easy to install, can be done in under 2 minutes. Easy peace of mind safety step.

> 3 dayI really like that if my toddler pulls out something that is already plugged in, there wont be an exposed Outlet to easily stick something in (apparently, I almost fried myself as a little kid before my Mom caught me in the nick of time lol yikes!) Going to replace more outlets with this style.

> 3 dayThese do not allow items to be plugged in even by adults and from other reviews I would say doing so would be a FIRE HAZARD. However, since I bought these for outlets I don’t intend to use, it’s actually exactly what we needed! I even installed them upside down for good measure in case he decided to slide the panels. The holes no longer line up with anything but solid plastic. My toddler recently figured out that he could pull our original covers away from the wall and even managed to snap one! These covers are extremely sturdy, CANNOT be manipulated away from the wall... and don’t even require safety plugs, which he sometimes pulled out of the original plates anyway.

> 3 dayThese covers were so easy to install and work like a breeze. They have just enough resistance that were confident our little one wouldnt be able to get at the outlet, but easy enough that plugging and unplugging things for adults is not a pain. Would definitely use these everywhere. Also had the added benefit of allowing us to cover up some of the mismatched colored and shaped outlets in our house without having to replace the whole box, something that had bothered me for a while, but was not worth the undertaking of a full replacement.

> 3 dayI would have gave them a 5 start if they would have came with the screws. It takes a little longer one than the standard cover.

> 3 dayWe tried all of the other plastic child safety outlet plugs and these are the only ones that truly work! When our baby was just a year old he could easily remove all of the other outlet safety plugs, but these actually deter him from plugging anything into the sockets and keep him 100% safe- even at 2 years old now! These are super easy and quick to install too. Definitely skip the other options and just get these!

Greater than one weekI do love these and the idea of them. They are super safe. My biggest problem with them is that they are so think things dont stay plugged in easily unless they are cords that dont get touched. Things like a blow dryer, straightener, iron, vacuum where the cord may wiggle even slightly cause them to easily unplug. I wish they were thinner and this is the best option as opposed to stick in safety covers.

> 3 dayWe love these outlet covers. Grandkid came to stay with us over 4th of July weekend. My husband was hesitant at first and thought he would from now on always need two hands to plug something in. So I installed the covers while he was taking a nap. He only noticed a few days later that the covers had been exchanged. Of course no sooner was the toddler here, little fingers were already probing the outlets - even trying to unplug something - but as soon as the plug came out, the outlet cover closed. Now my husband is convinced that this was a great baby proofing item. In addition, some of the outlets that we have are still from the original owner and not very tight - these self-closing outlet covers tighten the grip so plugs stay put.
