We love these outlet covers. Grandkid came to stay with us over 4th of July weekend. My husband was hesitant at first and thought he would from now on always need two hands to plug something in. So I installed the covers while he was taking a nap. He only noticed a few days later that the covers had been exchanged. Of course no sooner was the toddler here, little fingers were already probing the outlets - even trying to unplug something - but as soon as the plug came out, the outlet cover closed. Now my husband is convinced that this was a great baby proofing item. In addition, some of the outlets that we have are still from the original owner and not very tight - these self-closing outlet covers tighten the grip so plugs stay put.

We tried all of the other plastic child safety outlet plugs and these are the only ones that truly work! When our baby was just a year old he could easily remove all of the other outlet safety plugs, but these actually deter him from plugging anything into the sockets and keep him 100% safe- even at 2 years old now! These are super easy and quick to install too. Definitely skip the other options and just get these!

We love these outlet covers for use instead of outlet plugs for regularly used outlets. We use them for plugging in lights and other appliances and have them on all outlets we plug our vacuum into. It is a lot easier to use these than the safety outlet plugs. We dont have to remember to put the outlet plugs back in after vaccumming and for outlets we have lights plugged into we no longer have to worry if our toddler unplugs the lamp as we know he cant replug in the lamp and potentially electrocute himself. Highly recommend. We only bought enough of these to use on regular use outlets and use the safety plugs for all outlets we dont typically use.

This 6 pack is more than enough for us! Totally love it since my 9 months old loves touching the outlet. This really helps us a tons. ❤️

Love these, theyre so genius. Been using them for weeks already and have had no issues with them melting or catching fire so idk what the issue was with that other review. If your outlets are working properly you shouldnt have any issues lol My toddlers monitor plug is sideways and I COULD NOT find a box outlet protector big enough to go over it so I was very happy to find these. Theyre a little thicker than the standard outlet covers but they look great and work perfectly for us. Yeah it doesnt prevent him from unplugging things but at least he cant plug it back in and get shocked. Already bought 2 packs of 6 and planning to buy a couple more packs once my daughter starts to get mobile.

My grandson, who is 2-1/2, has not discovered how to plug something into these outlet covers. And, if he pulls a cord out, the outlet automatically closes and prevents him from replugging the cord. I bought a bunch for my own house.

These are a very well built quality product. They are not thin and cheaply built. They installed quite easily and quickly with the supplied screws and are super simple to use. I tried those cheap plastic things that just plug into the hole, but I dont have a good grip in my fingers and required a screw driver to pry them out whenever I went to plug something in. These are wonderfully simple to use. Use the plug end to slide the cover to the right and push the plug into place. Done. It automatically closes when the plug is removed. Perfect. It didnt hurt that they were white and I have white walls. I am going to need more of these.

So easy to install, can be done in under 2 minutes. Easy peace of mind safety step.

I love the idea but so far dont like the product. It feels as thought the prongs for any charging device I have is not long enough to reach the outlet itself

I bought these slide covers because my one year old kept taking the regular outlet protectors out. These are almost twice as thick as regular outlet covers and some of my items (vacuum, phone charger) wouldnt work because they could not be plugged in all the way. These do a great job of keeping my little one from accessing the outlets but are essentially useless when you need to use the outlets
