Greater than one weekEasy to install, but not as white as I would like. Compared to the screw they include the plates are off white and a bit smaller than my standard plates.

> 3 dayThese look nice, and they’re safe if you have a little one, but functionality is poor because of you have to use the outlet, the cover is too thick for the plug to stay connected. Plugs fall out of the socket since they’re not secured all the way in; the covers make that impossible.

> 3 dayWe use our outlets a lot for night lights, electronics, etc. So I’m glad once something is unplugged the outlet just slides closed and no need to look for an outlet cover.

17-11-2024We love these! We had bought all those annoying outlet plugs to keep our baby from jamming stuff in the outlets, but what we quickly realized is that its a pain to take them out to vacuum, and then remember to put them back in afterwards. These covers are SO much better. We bought six for his nursery, and now we are going to buy them for the rest of the house. I read previous reviews, and I also wanted to add that I do not have any problems with things not plugging in all the way with these covers. They work just like a regular cover. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayWe recently had to buy a TON of outlet covers for our toddler. When I purchased them, the cashier (who was a mom) told me that her toddlers new favorite thing is to pull whats plugged in OUT, leaving them exposed. Problem solved since this outlet cover automatically covers! GENIUS! I did deduct one star because some of my electronics wont stay plugged in. Not sure if too heavy or prongs arent as long but my Echo Dot pops right out. Just a heads up for anyone buying!

> 3 dayThese plugs were easy to install, but they tend to push the plug out on either the top or bottom outlet. I dont think the fit is totally right.

> 3 dayDue to the thickness caused by having the plate that slides over the plugs, when you plug in a cord it is not really 100% inserted into the socket anymore. Yes, it is pushed in completely and there is no gap. But these covers act like a small pacer. So cords are not fully retained and come out easier. This is mostly a problem for vacuuming. The cord will sometimes come unplugged.

> 3 dayLove these! They are easy to use / install and it is a lot easier to use the outlet over the outlet plug covers you can find for cheap at Walmart. The part I don’t like about them is sometimes when you plug something in it won’t work with this cover on. My daughter has 4 outlets in her room and I was only able to use 2 since her sound machine and room lamp (opposite sides of the room) don’t work when plugged into this. Other than that, we love them and have them around our house!

> 3 dayI just got this today and installed them today so I cant speak to the durability, but I was very pleased as soon as I got them out of the box. I like the idea of the slide-over mechanism versus outlet plugs because even if your kiddo unplugs something, they cant try to plug it back in, or try to put something else (small, metal) in there. Obviously the same goes for someone that removes an outlet cover and forgets to put it back in (other kids, visitors that dont have small kiddos, etc.). I really like that they came with the foam backing (insulation), which I read (in another review) is supposed to help with drafts. I also appreciate that it came with longer screws as the covers themselves stick out a little from the wall and need that little extra length of the screw to be secure. (I read in 1 review that these are supposed to go over existing outlet covers; that isnt the case. You need to completely remove the current ones and put these on. I also read that they didnt come with longer screws - mine did.) The covers are tough to slide over using your finger, which is exactly what you want these to do. I came back to Amazon to order more tonight, but when I saw some of the negative reviews about things coming unplugged or things that working right because it couldnt get a solid connection, I decided to try these out for awhile since my son isnt crawling yet then come back and give an update. But so far they seem well-made and priced well. Yes, theyre a little more expensive than others, but you can tell they are well-made and its worth paying an extra $0.50-$0.75 to help keep my son safe.

17-11-2024We ended up ordering more after our first order because they were so great. My toddler would just take the safety plugs out that you normally see at the stores so replacing them with these was the best thing we have done because we no longer have to be running after her constantly worrying about her sticking her finger in the electrical socket. So easy to install and use! Theyre perfect and a necessity for any toddler parent!
