05-06-2025This is a great product, but it doesn’t accommodate two-pronged outlets and I wish that had been made clear in the product info. This only works if your outlets have all three prongs.

> 3 dayEasy to install, but not as white as I would like. Compared to the screw they include the plates are off white and a bit smaller than my standard plates.

> 3 dayI just got this today and installed them today so I cant speak to the durability, but I was very pleased as soon as I got them out of the box. I like the idea of the slide-over mechanism versus outlet plugs because even if your kiddo unplugs something, they cant try to plug it back in, or try to put something else (small, metal) in there. Obviously the same goes for someone that removes an outlet cover and forgets to put it back in (other kids, visitors that dont have small kiddos, etc.). I really like that they came with the foam backing (insulation), which I read (in another review) is supposed to help with drafts. I also appreciate that it came with longer screws as the covers themselves stick out a little from the wall and need that little extra length of the screw to be secure. (I read in 1 review that these are supposed to go over existing outlet covers; that isnt the case. You need to completely remove the current ones and put these on. I also read that they didnt come with longer screws - mine did.) The covers are tough to slide over using your finger, which is exactly what you want these to do. I came back to Amazon to order more tonight, but when I saw some of the negative reviews about things coming unplugged or things that working right because it couldnt get a solid connection, I decided to try these out for awhile since my son isnt crawling yet then come back and give an update. But so far they seem well-made and priced well. Yes, theyre a little more expensive than others, but you can tell they are well-made and its worth paying an extra $0.50-$0.75 to help keep my son safe.

> 3 dayThese plugs were easy to install, but they tend to push the plug out on either the top or bottom outlet. I dont think the fit is totally right.

> 3 dayLove these, theyre so genius. Been using them for weeks already and have had no issues with them melting or catching fire so idk what the issue was with that other review. If your outlets are working properly you shouldnt have any issues lol My toddlers monitor plug is sideways and I COULD NOT find a box outlet protector big enough to go over it so I was very happy to find these. Theyre a little thicker than the standard outlet covers but they look great and work perfectly for us. Yeah it doesnt prevent him from unplugging things but at least he cant plug it back in and get shocked. Already bought 2 packs of 6 and planning to buy a couple more packs once my daughter starts to get mobile.

> 3 dayLiked that they were so easy to install. The triple cover said it was a standard size but it was a little smaller that the one I had on so I wasn’t able to use it. But I am sure I can find someone who can.

> 3 dayLOVE! They were so easy to install and gave a complete new look to the yellow covers. So glad I didn’t have to figure out how to replace the yellow plug as this just is a cover. The only thing I will note - I would give it a 3/5 for childproof. My 4 years old thought it was fun to play with (sliding it open and watching it shut). I think it at least is some kind of block for my younger kids, but it isn’t locked so it isn’t really childproof.

> 3 dayWe love these outlet covers for use instead of outlet plugs for regularly used outlets. We use them for plugging in lights and other appliances and have them on all outlets we plug our vacuum into. It is a lot easier to use these than the safety outlet plugs. We dont have to remember to put the outlet plugs back in after vaccumming and for outlets we have lights plugged into we no longer have to worry if our toddler unplugs the lamp as we know he cant replug in the lamp and potentially electrocute himself. Highly recommend. We only bought enough of these to use on regular use outlets and use the safety plugs for all outlets we dont typically use.

> 3 daySo my son figured out how to unplug things from sockets. Yes, we have the nifty socket inserts for ones you arent using, and hes left those alone so far. But Im talking cords, night lights, etc. Of course, cords have all since been hidden. But how do you lock in a night light or similar things that the baby loves to unplug, yet needs to stay plugged in? We havent come up with a solution that isnt gluing the item to the wall, but these are the next best thing. When he finds something he loves to unplug, it shuts safely afterward so he cant get a finger in the newly opened socket. Super easy to install. I appreciate the longer screws it comes with, since this item is thicker than a regular socket plate. Definitely recommend!
