Had this thing for a couple months now and right away switched out to the 1 TB SSD and upgraded 16gb additional DDR ram. Ram was plug and play the 1TB swap took a little research and verified with a guy at Radioshack on how to clone the windows 10 install to the new hard drive. Runs great, fast startup. I dont game on PC but it is nice, functional, fairly fast, large capacity (after upgrade), low cost for all other reasons! Totally worth it

I bought this, and could never get it to work. the circle thing went round and round. luckily i was able to return it for a refund. my sis convinced me you get what you pay for with laptops.

Worse thing to ever purchase

A whole year did not even pass since the purchase of this laptop and everytime i unplug the laptop I get a blue screen. This is becoming unbearable. I’ve lost a lot of work this way.

I only tried this laptop two or three times. The keyboard was so stiff it hurt to use it. I returned it.

After using the laptop for less than one year the AC port being lose i have to put it in one adjust to charge it

My subjective review is based on A515-46-R14K model i purchased equipped with Ryzen 3 3350U CPU.

I bought this October 2021 and it broke JANUARY 2022. The mouse stopped working. The manufacturers warranty only covers me, at my expense, sending the computer to them. Wait 2 weeks for its return. Why dont they have a local repair service? My son does online school and he cant be without a computer for 2 weeks. Its also how he stays in touch with his friends. We attached a wired mouse, but its just very inconvenient. Its also not charging properly. You really have to jiggle the charger for it to charge. Too many problems for me. Thats my last time buying an Acer. Wouldnt recommend it.

So far, so good. I bought this to be my record keeping laptop when I go on my road trips. I do not have any sensitive data nor do I do any power using. This is a sweet little laptop, adequate for my needs, EXCEPT... Those of us who insist on a keyboard that includes a numeric keypad are, for the most part, adept at 10-key by touch. Moving the zero key to below the one instead of the two is just WRONG. Putting the decimal below the two instead of the three is just WRONG. I keep trying to type numbers and get a decimal point where theres supposed to be a zero. DUMB, DUMB, DUMB design.

Just received my laptop arrived a day early.Sofar, I have notice that this computer DOES NOT HAVE WEBCAM.
