The computer I had before this was what people like to call a potato. Huge upgrade, a lot faster and works really well.

Im so angry right now...

Bought this laptop for my mom in November and it’s already broken. All it is showing is a black screen. Not happy at all.

Just what I needed for my basic computer use. Great value.

So disappointing

With some computer knowledge, a little bit of investment, its easy to upgrade this laptop to run really well, I get about 30fps in fallout 4, 45fps in risk of rain 2, and it can run anything less modern with ease. Solid gaming laptop for its price if you upgrade it.

Ive been in IT for over 25+ years, the last 8 of which were with IBM. Ive been a heavy Toshiba user for most of my laptop using, but I finally switched to Dell for my last one. I bought this ACER because I remember they used to make motherboards and chips and I figured for the price, what could go wrong for a replacement to my room mates old Toshiba that had an unrecoverable hard drive error. Since she is not a heavy user, just Youtube videos on knitting, Nextdoor, leaving it on stories for our four dogs when we leave, I figured this would be a no brainer. I couldnt have been more wrong. After the initial automated setup and updates, I couldnt get it to open any one of my email accounts, the freaking thing was always asking for Microsoft passwords, and for two days it was nothing but a stone headache to try to fix the issues and get it running correctly. I will never buy ACER again. I will say that the screen image was fairly sharp and it ran pretty fast due to the quad core. However, it wasnt running anything, so you have to take that speed with a grain of salt. But, not being able to read an email? Come on... I hope whoever gets this one again, can figure out my PIN. LOL!

EStoy muy, pero muy contento con la inversion realizada en esta LAPTOP. Le aumente la memoria RAM, tiene ranura para aumentralo; y la memoria SSD 500GB. Ha quedado como una lapton premium, y amitad de precio. Inverti 80$ adicioanles para aumentar las dos emorias. Feliz

I love everything about it inexpensive and all you need is the extra gigabyte and your laptop is super speedy, Zip, zoom.
