The product description states Backlit Keyboard & FPR Reader - Work comfortably in any environment with the backlit keyboard. What it doesnt say is the backlit stays on for only 30 seconds. There is no option to make it stay on. This laptop is not suitable for anyone who needs to use it in a dark environment.

Great laptop, I was concern because before purchasing the laptop I read multi ple feedbacks and the only problem that most people complain was that the fan was too loud but I did not have that problem and I install heavy programs on the computer and it met my expectations, also the laptop is really thin and light weight

Bought this laptop a year ago since I couldnt beat the price. Computer isnt bad - fast speed, lots of storage. Unfortunately, either the charger or the port is absolute rubbish. Half the time when its plugged in, it randomly stops and starts charging. Now I have to figure out what the issue is.

Good laptop just cant be used for too much.

The laptop is fast. The screen is great. The fingerprint reader works well. The only problem I couldn’t live with was how hot the computer runs. I actually like to put laptops on my lap when I use them, but because of the heat and the fan location (bottom of unit) it is just too uncomfortable. If you don’t mind the fan noise and plan on using it on a table top, it would probably be a good laptop for you.

The screen stopped working after a few months. I sent it into Acer Repair, and within a few weeks of sending it in, they finally got back to me saying that they had found internal liquid leaks - which isnt possible because the laptop was never subjected to conditions that would cause that. Overall, very bad experience and bad experience with customer service at Acer.

My 2nd Acer. Have only had a month, but I like everything about it.

Computer is fast and perfect for school! I love it!

It is great, monitor, keyboard, battery life, speed, weight, all good. Speakers are soooo useless.

This computer is terrible! It constantly freezes up, then loses everything I was working on that didnt save before the unexpected freeze. Countless hours of work lost on multiple occassions. I wish I had opened/used it earlier and discovered these issues bc now Ive missed the return window by 2 days! So frustrating!
