Bought for my daughter for her birthday. She absolutely loves it! She has the best mom if I do say so myself. She hasnt had any complaints so we are both very happy.

Love this computer, its so fast! Now...I need to get some young whipper-snapper over here to help gramma out, lol. Screen is out of this world, great keyboard layout. Couldnt be happier.

Lasted exactly to the end of the warranty and the motherboard went out. Called acer support, they said they can’t help And that I needed to go to an authorized repair facility. Being military, of course there was not one even close to me.

Sleek and modern with a large 1080p screen, this is a great choice for watching movies, running office apps, or games that are not GPU/CPU demanding. Its obvious a lot of thought went into the details. The USB ports can be used for charging, theres one USB 2, two USB 3.1 and one USB C 3.1 port. Wired and wireless networking (using the newest ac wireless standard), fingerprint reader, large touchpad, full sized keyboard AND a numeric keyboard.

I bought this intending to upgrade with a 1 TB SSD and bought a 16 GB RAM stick. (BTW I bought the wrong kind the first time so make sure you get the SODIMM version) Anyway, the biggest problem I have with this computer is that there are TOO MANY conflicting reports on things. If you just look at how many slots there are for RAM youll get 2 different answers. This is not acceptable for people who are expecting to know what theyre getting. For the record, there is 1 RAM slot with 1 8 GB stick. If you buy a 16 GB stick to replace it, max youre getting RAM wise is 16 GB, not 20 as advertised since there is only 1 slot. Computer seems to work fine. It doesnt read the SSD after installation if its not formatted. If you got a SAMSUNG SSD like I did, youll need to get a separate 3rd party app to read it. Theres just a lot of random things upon starting that is annoying me, but overall the computer works and seems to be taking my upgrades. One other thing Im not fond of is that the screen is hard to open. Theres not a good hold to be able to open the laptop screen when its down. Ive never had this problem with any of the other computers Ive had. Just this one. The reason why seems to be that the lid/screen portion of the laptop tapers in and is thin. It would be hard to open if I didnt have nails to grab a ledge of the screen to pull up.

I love my laptop works well fast start up and things... love the fingerprint reader the screen is nice and crisp works well to do my college courses
