> 3 dayLove the touch-screen quality. Slower than most other laptops or phone. Uses Chrome OS, my first experience with it, perhaps thats the reason?

> 3 dayThis Acer Chromebook (TheSpin 311 Convertible) has a long-lasting battery, which is an absolute necessity for younger kids. However, it comes loaded with junk, some of which isnt usable or is outdated. Weve been using it for a few days and, of course, the kids love the touch screen, and taking photos. Although, theres little comparison to a regular PC that my10-year-old grandson is using. And its different enough to be confusing. It is, after all, a Chromebook.

> 3 dayive really become a fan of ASUS lately, and needed to get a replacement chromebook for my kids to replace an aging Samsung one we had. I wanted something that would last, and was powerful enough to run some more demanding apps (i.e. crossover).

> 3 dayGreat computer HOWEVER……..it turns out, according to Acer, it’s “not compatible” with our Canon printer! Therefore, there is NO way to print anything.

> 3 dayThis is not worth the price point. I know I received this but I want to give a good review. This would be good solely for maybe a small child or just leisure browsing. It lags a lot and the speed is super slow even with my high speed internet Wi-Fi connection. You can’t use word or anything on Microsoft office and that’s a major detractor for me. I guess you can utilize google docs and drive if you so chose. If often just shuts off or won’t stay charged long enough for extended use over an hour or two. While the keyboard to tablet feature is a major plus for me. I’m not happy with the slowness of the Chromebook as a whole. A lot of the apps we tried to download are freezing or just simply closing out. Overall the price pint should be lowered. I’m finding use for this with my toddler more so than myself it’s suits her needs better. I’ll give update as we continue to put this to use.

> 3 dayThis is my second chromebook, both are the Acer brand. I really enjoy the security, the ease of use, and the touchscreen. I keep it next to my recliner and grab it several times a day to check the news, do some research, some shopping, or read up on email etc. So glad I decided to give the chromebook a try.

> 3 dayLearn from our mistake and dont waste your money! We purchased this product in mid-December. Not even two months later, it completely died -- wouldnt boot up, wouldnt charge. We sent it back to Acer for repair, since it was under warranty. They had to replace the motherboard. They sent it back, and it worked...for four hours. Then died again. Acer now wants us to send it back again for another repair and refuse to issue another device or a credit. Well see what Amazon might be willing to do, but in the meantime -- please do yourself a favor and dont buy an Acer.
