I purchased my last Chromebook back in 2014 and had still been using it to now. It was a Samsung Chromebook II and it had 4gb ram and 16gb hard drive. It served me well, it let me watch youtube and do web searches etc...but honestly, even being just used as a device to browse the web, the tiny hard drive held me back. The 4gb ram i felt was not accurate. and the lack of a touch screen left app downloads lacking.

So first thing, since I know some people will be wondering: this device CAN NOT be flashed to run Windows or Linux, at least at this time. It is not possible. Was one of the main reasons I got it, since I did not know that at the time, but I will make do, ChromeOS is workable nowadays. If you want a Chromebook to flash to Ubuntu or Windows or something, there are websites that break down which can and which cant.

Ordered this Chromebook at 8:30 am and it was delivered at 8:00 pm the same day! The package was in a carton with bubble wrap. The units own box had the device securely held in place with bombers on each end. Once unpacked, the feel, look, and finish made it appear like a solid, high-end product.

This little laptop provides just enough for an 80+ parent or a kid under 12. They need minimal software.

The ACER Chromebook is everything it claimed. I have no problem with the machine itself. HOWEVER, This statement is FALSE = Chromebooks come with built-in storage for offline access to your most important files and an additional 100GB of Google Drive space to ensure that all of your files are backed up automatically.

Literal piece of trash. It’s like buying one of those $30 smart phones. Everything is slow, not compatible, runs awful. It’s not even a good paper weight. Wish I would’ve opened it in time to return but it sat in the box till I missed the window cause I was busy. Absolute garbage product.
