> 3 dayThis Chromebook is pretty good for the price point--its nice that it has the tablet-style hinge. I wanted to confirm for others looking at this, that unlike what some other reviewers have posted, I got the exact product as advertised: the model number is CP311-2H-C7QD, which is the 2021 model year release.

> 3 dayLight weight. I like that you can positioned it at different angles. Front size is small but it can be adjusted. Its price was fair. Very pleased.

> 3 daySo first thing, since I know some people will be wondering: this device CAN NOT be flashed to run Windows or Linux, at least at this time. It is not possible. Was one of the main reasons I got it, since I did not know that at the time, but I will make do, ChromeOS is workable nowadays. If you want a Chromebook to flash to Ubuntu or Windows or something, there are websites that break down which can and which cant.

> 3 dayI purchased my last Chromebook back in 2014 and had still been using it to now. It was a Samsung Chromebook II and it had 4gb ram and 16gb hard drive. It served me well, it let me watch youtube and do web searches etc...but honestly, even being just used as a device to browse the web, the tiny hard drive held me back. The 4gb ram i felt was not accurate. and the lack of a touch screen left app downloads lacking.

> 3 day(Updated May 21, 2023) This review is for the ACER Chromebook Spin 314 Convertible Laptop (Model: CP314-1H-P1Q5) featuring a 14 multi-touch display, Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, relatively generous 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of slower eMMC storage. This laptop was priced at ~$400 at the time of this review, and unfortunately, despite being new to the market and including Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, the price is not justified. To be honest, it feels like a $300 machine. Its got a terrible, low-resolution screen, and while ACER hasnt specified the panel type, its likely TN since it suffers from limited view angles and poor contrast. While this configuration of the ACER Chromebook Spin 314 is adequate for most productivity and education workloads, I cant recommend it since there are several convertible Chromebooks with 8GB RAM/128GB eMMC in the ~$400 price range with vastly superior Full HD (1920x1080) IPS touchscreens and laptop-class processors, such as the

Greater than one weekEverything about how this is designed is very user friendly and its very much an affordable way to do basic every day computer tasks without needing to invest in a high end machine. Its responsive and Ive had no troubles at all doing all my normal every day work tasks with it. Wifi card inside does a great job of logging in and staying connected to any signal Ive used it with. The keyboard can flip around and the computer goes into tablet mode. Very easy to do with no extra steps needed. Its thin and super easy to take along, not weighing very much. A very portable machine, so great when I need to travel. Ive been using this for a few months now and Im happy with it!

> 3 dayive really become a fan of ASUS lately, and needed to get a replacement chromebook for my kids to replace an aging Samsung one we had. I wanted something that would last, and was powerful enough to run some more demanding apps (i.e. crossover).

> 3 dayThis works pretty well if you are just going to be web browsing or watching some videos. Its a bit slow in terms of installing/running apps. But I find its small size, lightweight and good battery life make it very convenient to use when you dont really want to haul around a full size laptop. I might in the future consider spending a little bit more for a faster processor. But thats about the only criticism I have for this.
