NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. Bought this slightly less than a year ago. Brand new but appeared to have been dropped in transit or at the warehouse, straight out of the package as one hinge was off a bit, but seemed to work so I kept it instead of waiting to ship it back and wait for another. The battery only lasts about 2-2 1/2 hours w brightness down low. That is only online, not even gaming.

Excellent hardware specifications for the current $599 price. I wanted better performance than the usual budget Chromebook, but I didn’t want to pay a premium. Google had their refurbished Pixelbook with the i5 for $699. It does not come with a stylus and there is not a place to garage it on the Pixelbook. I like that Acer used Wacom EMR for stylus support and the passive stylus garages in the bottom of the Spin 13.

12/5/19 1st cut at review. Just opened my Acer Chromebook Spin 13 this morning. A very nice machine ! Fantastic screen & color. Stylus tucked into the frame very nicely.

Buy this chromebook if you like working in the cloud and your focus is productivity.

The screen is flickering time to time. Very disappointing. Want to return, but the return window is already closed.

Large and hi-dpi screen, good keyboard, 4 core cpu, and Linux support.

Setting up the Acer Chromebook Spin 13 was very easy. The only thing you may need to do is create a Gmail account, but once that is done, everything else is pretty simple. And since I already had a Gmail account, everything synced with my existing account. One feature that I liked was that most of the popular Google apps appear at the bottom of the screen (ie. Google Chrome, Gmail, YouTube and the Playstore) but you have the ability to customize your display.

Complete garbage. Does not work after a month of use. Makes you create new password then locks you out asking for your old password. Manufacture troubleshoot is just to reset. Then you are in the same problem of logging in.
