best device I have ever owned at this point in my life. Fast, looks great, easy to use, responsive touch screen, great resolution, great size, great battery life and looks slick. the only minor complaint is that the speaker comes from the keyboard. I highly recommend the product especially for the price.

Having used many different Chromebooks, this one has a lot of ports, which is great to have. But the screen quality is so-so and the trackpad is nice.

This is my daily driver, I use this CB(Chromebook) every day for 8-12 hours of work and even game on it. 8 GB ram is perfect for a CB. I have no slowdowns everything that I throw at it just works, need MS Office? You can use the Android or Web versions. I use Linux, so I have my office, cad, project planner all free 100% open source. I can access office docs exchange files back and forth with clients, coworkers this is not a problem. Im able to run some Windows programs using a beta emulator. Wow! Good things are coming to ChromeOS even MS is going to use the Chrome engine in the next version of their browser. To unlock the full power of this system please google how to install the Linux software store, then its just click and install.

So far I like this. I just set it up yesterday. I should have realized that Gorilla glass would mean the screen is just like my phone - there is a lot of glare. My old Chromebook had an anti-glare screen, which I much prefer. Oh well - thats my bad.

The standout feature of the Acer Chromebook Spin 13 is its display. The combination of the screen size with the unique resolution and aspect ratio hits a sweet spot. Its speed is actually much faster than necessary for typical Chromebook browser and app use, but will be great for users who plan to run Crostini Linux applications or dual-booted Windows. The feel of the gorilla glass touchpad makes it a joy to use. The EMR stylus works beautifully, though it can get somewhat stuck in its holster if reinserted with excessive force. At 3.5 pounds, this device doesnt target users that require high mobility or frequent use in its tablet mode. The aluminum case is metal gray in color, so it just looks like any thin corporate desktop when the lid is down. But, when using Chrome OS, it breezes effortlessly through all of animations for touchpad and touchscreen gestures. Browser extensions, Web apps, PWAs, Android apps, and screen casting are all highly responsive. Video streaming and playback is excellent, and sound is very good for a laptop. I/O ports are ample and located optimally. I purchased mine for $699.99 on Cyber Monday.

This laptop is truly amazing. Granted its been about a decade since Ive gotten a new personal laptop, however what a time to be alive! This Chrome OS is truly undeniably fast and quick to start up. This is perfect if you hate loading time like I do. The transition from laptop to tablet and vice versa is seamless and natural. I do wish I had confirmation about whether I can put the tablet keyboard-down and not suffer any issues (none so far to report).

The good: This is my 2nd Chromebook and this one has a lot more features!. As long as you have a gmail account, setup takes just a couple minutes. This will automatically power on when opened, even when it is shut off from the last time. All programs are app based and so this requires WiFi. The screen can be flipped completely and used as a tablet. Hitting the keys, didnt seem to cause any issues in tablet mode. As a laptop, the touchscreen still functions. I hooked up an external mouse and it automatically recognized it, with no wait time! Google has tons of apps that can be added. Everything is stored via the cloud, which keeps this computer really fast as nothing needs to load. Google constantly is doing upgrades, so this will work at its total potential. The keyboard lights up and since there are no moving parts, battery life is quite good. This can be charged connecting to a USB C or via an outlet with the included cord.
