> 3 daySo I like the design and form of this Chromebook. It has a nice keyboard, and excellent touchpad, and some decent guts that let you do everything from office productivity to some android gaming. The app store(s) have increased in size quite a bit since Chromebook was introduced to the world, and being able to run many Android apps gives you a lot of options, even offline.

> 3 dayIs it a PC? No, obviously not, but I have an overpowered midtower on a desk for things that need power and an exe file to work. However the this Chromebook fits a need for portability and at a lower cost than a decent laptop. Ive used cheap Chromebooks before and wasnt thrilled, but this Chromebook brings a lot to the table. You just have to decide what your needs are.

Greater than one weekI bought this convertible laptop/tablet primarily for displaying music on a stand. I wanted the widest screen possible when the screen is vertical (higher than wide). I also wanted to change over to Chrome and planned to use it as my main computer. Its well made and solid. The touch screen is great, although Id like to be able to adjust the sensitivity. I also wanted more onboard storage than most other Chromebooks have. The keyboard works well, although of course its not the same as a good separate keyboard. All in all, its worth the premium price.

05-06-2025I like this laptop and it’s great for the price. I’ve had it a few months and honestly it was hard for me to get used to because I’ve never owned a chrome book before. I haven’t used it a lot but now that I am because of school I have noticed that the battery life isn’t great. It says 10 hours of battery life but when I’m working on it the battery drains after a couple of hours. Other than that l, the touch screen function is great and the pen that came with it is good. I would be careful and not lose that pen because finding a replacement pen is VERY difficult. All of the off brand pens sold on here do not work with it.

> 3 dayThis is my first Chromebook, so my review is about the hardware not the OS. Everything worked fine from the start up. The screen was a lower resolution than what Im used to, but I was able to use it just fine. My only complaint is after learning to use Chrome OS I decided to reset it so everything was fresh, and the touch screen stopped working. I Tried several fixes and still no touchscreen.

09-06-2025Do not buy! This chromebook seems a good deal, but screen cracked under normal use in just a few months. Acer wants $399 to fix the glass. Robbery! Will not be buying any further Acer products.

> 3 dayThis Chromebook is loaded with good stuff, and beats the Google GO hands down. The I-5 processor and 8GB of memory and 128 GB of SSD put it up with the best Windows laptops. It has the lighted and very comfortable keyboard, touchscreen with stylus (built in), and great battery life. The added feature is the screen - it is an inch taller than the normal 13.5 screen which lets you get a more of what you are working on or watching up in view. And the screen resolution is beyond Full HD.

> 3 dayIt is a fair to middling machine that handles most day to day tasks, as expected from something at this price point. Besides some slight compatibility issues, the only real problem I have is the fact that the battery has degraded exponentially since initial purchase. After just 20 charging cycles the most I can get out of it is about 4 hours of light use before searching for an outlet. That is a far cry from the 10+ that was promised. Otherwise, it is a capable device, just not one you can trust to stay charged up and ready to go.
