While I cant say how good of a purchase this is at the full price, I bought this while it was on sale for $700 and I could not recommend this Chromebook more.

I purchased in Oct 2022. After using the unit for a few weeks, I have concerns about the battery. It gets very hot. The bottom of the unit gets hot enough to be uncomfortable when I have it resting on my chest while surfing (in my recliner). I have a shirt on yet the heat from the bottom is enough to have me looking for a towel to use as a pad. Also, this unit replaced an ASUS chromebook that is years older yet the ASUS seems to load websites faster. Finally, the touchpad is not nearly as sensitive as the ASUS. I often have to tap twice to get a reaction. There also seems to be an occasional issue with loading facebooks short videos. After they load, you cant close the window by clicking x in the upper corner. You have to scroll back using the back arrow on the browser bar. Annoying.

Ive been using this chromebook for about a month now, and its holding up great! One thing I like is that once I logged into my google account, all my previous settings from my old chromebook automatically uploaded (browser theme, desktop background, icon, bookmarks, etc.) It was nice not to have to go through the set up process again, it made for a seamless transition after my old laptop broke. Ive had a chromebook for years, so it was nice to see the consistency across different computers. It felt like an upgraded version of my beloved late laptop, so the transition was painless. I had no trouble adjusting to this one (other than learning the touch screen differences, since my old laptop didnt have a tablet mode).

Way faster than a windows machine. Super fast start and browsing. Great machine. Love it.

This laptop is perfect for the person that needs a lightweight, powerful system for their business and productivity needs. Exceptional battery life even when running multiple apps at once. Crystal clear screen also is great for watching movies. The monitor height/width ratio allows for a slightly higher view area, so there is less scrolling when reading documents, which is important for reading reports or working on spreadsheets. Both the keyboard and the touch screen are very responsive and allows you to work quickly. If you are unfamiliar with Chromebooks, keep in mind that any software that requires a Windows operating system wont work. You will also need to download pretty much any software or apps you need from the Google Play store.

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. Bought this slightly less than a year ago. Brand new but appeared to have been dropped in transit or at the warehouse, straight out of the package as one hinge was off a bit, but seemed to work so I kept it instead of waiting to ship it back and wait for another. The battery only lasts about 2-2 1/2 hours w brightness down low. That is only online, not even gaming.

Super legit. No regrets other than I wish the tablet detached.

Everything is smooth so far. I purchased a used one and hoped for the best that it would come out great since thats what the ratings said. And I wasnt disappointed. Im very new to chromebooks, and this a great one to start with. I was researching pixelbooks, surface pros, iPad pros and everything in between; came to the conclusion that chromebooks are the best bang for your buck.

I got a really good deal on this laptop/tablet. Its performance is stunning. The ChromeOS is superior to Windows in every respect (except running windows applications), but with Linux supported and Windows emulators that run on Linux, I suspect that wont be a problem much longer.
