Greater than one weekI opened my Acer Spin 13 Chromebook today and my first impressions are all positive. The screen is bright and dynamic. The metal body is solid, feels sturdy. Touch screen responds well. Battery meter reads about 8 hours at full charge, but that may simply be because I havent fully discharged the battery yet and then recharged. (Unplugged my battery meter now says 9h37m remaining, so yeah, the battery meter needs to adjust.) The Screen flips all the way back on sturdy hinges. Keyboard and touchpad respond solidly.

> 3 dayI purchased this for my daughter last March so she could do remote learning because the school supplied Chromebooks are highly unreliable.

> 3 dayI bought this convertible laptop/tablet primarily for displaying music on a stand. I wanted the widest screen possible when the screen is vertical (higher than wide). I also wanted to change over to Chrome and planned to use it as my main computer. Its well made and solid. The touch screen is great, although Id like to be able to adjust the sensitivity. I also wanted more onboard storage than most other Chromebooks have. The keyboard works well, although of course its not the same as a good separate keyboard. All in all, its worth the premium price.

Greater than one weekThe standout feature of the Acer Chromebook Spin 13 is its display. The combination of the screen size with the unique resolution and aspect ratio hits a sweet spot. Its speed is actually much faster than necessary for typical Chromebook browser and app use, but will be great for users who plan to run Crostini Linux applications or dual-booted Windows. The feel of the gorilla glass touchpad makes it a joy to use. The EMR stylus works beautifully, though it can get somewhat stuck in its holster if reinserted with excessive force. At 3.5 pounds, this device doesnt target users that require high mobility or frequent use in its tablet mode. The aluminum case is metal gray in color, so it just looks like any thin corporate desktop when the lid is down. But, when using Chrome OS, it breezes effortlessly through all of animations for touchpad and touchscreen gestures. Browser extensions, Web apps, PWAs, Android apps, and screen casting are all highly responsive. Video streaming and playback is excellent, and sound is very good for a laptop. I/O ports are ample and located optimally. I purchased mine for $699.99 on Cyber Monday.

> 3 dayEasy to set up and use. Its very fast but I ordered it with additional RAM. It is for personal use. Its very lightweight, has tough construction, and built like a tank. This was a gift for my hubby and his review.

> 3 dayThis laptop is truly amazing. Granted its been about a decade since Ive gotten a new personal laptop, however what a time to be alive! This Chrome OS is truly undeniably fast and quick to start up. This is perfect if you hate loading time like I do. The transition from laptop to tablet and vice versa is seamless and natural. I do wish I had confirmation about whether I can put the tablet keyboard-down and not suffer any issues (none so far to report).
