> 3 dayNot sure if my video card is the issue or what. Monitor will intermittently blink on/off, the image is really grainy (most present in blacks showing white grains), screen size is super small, cant tell the difference in refresh from my previous monitor, the built in speakers arent even as loud as my cell phone, actually I should rate this experience lower from my perspective! There now 3 stars. With tech though, probably something else causing my images issues. I wouldnt pay 200+ dollars for this again though.

> 3 daySurprisingly this was a good monitor. It was easy to set up changing the modes was a breeze. Sounds is not the best but you can listen to music on it loud enough. Its amazing this came with an HDMI cable and the VGA cable! The screen has no edges basically very sharp looks great and very low profile. The stand gives it a nice sport gaming look. Definitely worth the money!

Greater than one weekI like Acer products & just wanted a second monitor for my pc & to double for a console gaming monitor. It works great for everything I need it for. I had to mess with the picture settings to get a little better picture but thats not reall a big deal. The only negative thing I can say about the monitor at this time is that one of the hdmi ports dont work I just used a hdmi switch to bypass it rather than going through the whole returning it & waiting for a new one.

> 3 dayMy husband is a teacher working from home, and our previous monitor was excellent, but just not large enough - not up to the task. There were more expensive monitors some with more (some with less) features, but our experience with Acer products has always been positive. The monitor stands well with the video system he uses for teaching, does not cramp his neck (as he can sit taller), and the view-ability is exceptional. We have a computer video card that has the AMD Freesync Technology, and the card/software picked up the monitors abilities immediately. This was a very easy monitor to set up,has a 3-year warranty, and it looks great with fantastic flicker-free video. Think carefully before you purchase a monitor, and place this one in your shopping cart. Lisa

> 3 dayI have an Xbox One S and so does my wife. I bought 2 of these KG271 model monitors. Neither monitor worked with either Xbox. I tried 4 different HDMI cords from the standard cord that comes with the Xbox to a HDMI 3.0 and nothing worked with either Xbox. I even bought a HDMI to DP adapter and tried that and still did not work. I tried to plug my laptop into it via HDMI and it did not work either. If you are buying this monitor to use for a console then DO NOT waste your time. I have it 3 stars because I felt it was fair considering I am getting a refund however my time is being wasted. The monitor came with a DP cord, there should be an option to come with the HDMI or other. The monitor has this function where it auto scans for the input source and since it couldn’t detect the HDMI then it kept going into idle mode. I had to keep turning it on then timing it just before it shut off to switch the input. It was a pain and a huge waste of my time. As I said if you’re buying the KG271 series for a console, look elsewhere! I can’t speak for PC although my laptop did not work via HMDI but does not have a DP.

> 3 dayI bought it mainly for gaming so it succeeded in that department. The audio quality sucks but for a product that does very little to no advertising of its “audio” feature, it might as well should be considered a little bonus rather than a bad feature to be honest. Overall, its a five star since again, it succeeded what it advertises to do

Greater than one weekits extremely heavy for what it should be. not too happy about not having a usb port, thats just stupid. also you dont get a coax in which is not the greatest. the picture is really nice so far. navigation through menu is not great, but manageable. next monitor will have these options. was a good upgrade from my vizeo 19 inch. was able to transfer everything on the wall mount to this one without issues, so that was nice. got this for $89. def wait for it to go on sale if considering buying.

> 3 dayI needed a monitor with a faster refresh rate for casual gaming... mostly FPS. I had spoiled myself on a 27 that only had a 60 Hz refresh rate, so when this 27 model with 144 Hz popped up on sale, I grabbed it. So far, I love it... especially for the price. I was disappointed with the depth of color when I first hooked it up... the whole display looked a bit hazy on Windows 10 compared to my old Samsung display. However, I looked in the Advanced Display Settings in Windows and found that it was running at 60 Hz by default. I bumped it up to 144 Hz and that somehow made the colors much deeper and true-looking. Color depth is now similar to my Samsung display, except now with a much higher refresh rate. If you are disappointed with a haziness in your new display, check to see what refresh rate it is running at. I tried some gaming and am very pleased so far. I cant use the Freesync feature since I have an NVidia GPU and I didnt want to pay for G-sync. However, I enabled V-sync on the games I played and experienced absolutely no screen-tearing and great response, with no noticeable hit to FPS. And 144 Hz is a definite improvement over 60 Hz. One other thing to note: there is virtually no physical bezel on the top and sides of the monitor. However, there are apparently no actual pixels for about a quarter inch from the edge of the display on the top and sides, which gives it a sort of soft bezel. Not a big deal for me, as I just wanted a 27 monitor with a faster refresh rate than I had, but be aware that when you hook it up, the display doesnt really reach the virtually nonexistent bezel. The bezel that is there is like a brushed/matte looking material, as is the screen itself, so there is no noticeable reflection from any surface of the monitor... which is another plus. Overall, I am very pleased with this monitor, especially considering the price I paid for it.

> 3 dayThis monitor worked great for 3 months, than the menu buttons broke and the menu screen got stuck cycling through all options on the screen. I have a 2 year protection plan but HA Acer customer service is none, Im still to this date waiting on a call cause you cant call them you can only send a request for someone to call you! I will never buy a Acer product ever again, horrible to no CX service!

> 3 dayThis monitor is solid, its great at what it meant to do and really shows its power with the 144 Hz and the 1ms response time. I will say that a few times I have turned on the monitor and gotten some weird crazy glitching, I just turn it off and turn it back on and it completely fixes itself. I feel like this is a pretty widespread problem but I dont think I want to wait a month to send and get a new monitor. Im would give it 3.5 for its color/ picture quality which isnt the most amazing thing Ive seen and it isnt easy to find a really good balance in colors and contrast. Also, the speakers are a joke, its like putting an iPod in a glass bottle and putting it behind your desk. BUT if you are your decision to buy a gaming monitor is even REMOTELY influenced by speaker quality you are doing something REALLY wrong. just buy a pair of actual speakers for like 10 bucks and it will be 10x better then what you will find on almost any monitor.
