> 3 dayI just requested Amazon to pickup (return) this POS product to Acer. Within 1 hour of unpackaging the monitor and setting it up, the monitor conked out on me. The issue appears to be the display port. The DVI seemed to work, but I plugged the monitor into several computers using the display port, and it would not detect any signal. The Display Port is where you get 144hz refresh, so not having this is huge. Im a little disappointed, because i heard Acer was a good brand for gamers, and this is my first venture into their brand, and probably the last. What a great first impression, Acer, thanks alot for wasting my time. I didnt even get a chance to play any games. I did have a chance to view the monitor for an hour. To be honest, i thought the screen looked a little funny. It had a different contrast than my other monitors that were hooked up, and it was noticeable. It looked as if the brightness was turned up all the way. I took a look to see if there were options to correct this, but couldnt figure it out... Anyways, long story short, here is my review - a POS monitor. I know my computers, and i know that its not my issue, its Acers.

> 3 dayTLDR: it flickers off and on at the worst times and its so unpredictable that I wish I returned it. Let me start off by saying that this monitor is VERY satisfying to use...when its not flickering!!! Within the first day of getting it I was having flickering issues. I looked up some solutions and did some gsync disabling (this was the only monitor with 144hz that wouldnt drain my bank but it has free sync and not g sync sadly) and cable changes but it works for a while and then Ill get days where it flickers 6 TIMES IN A ROW. Its driving me NUTS. I would have returned it already and gotten a new one(NOT from Acer) if we werent in a weird spot for monitor stocks and deliveries. My boyfriend has a familiar model (just a 25in instead of 27) and it works amazing. And yes this could just be a dud but its also a well-known issue in Acer monitors for their panels being poorly built and tested in other models. So once theres a chance of new stock I may just sell this one off (Im past return date :/ I tried to give it a chance) and get an ASUS or BENQ.

> 3 dayGreat monitor for tge price. Was looking for 60hrz, 1080p, 1ms gtg, and vesa monted. Cant go wrong wgen on a buget. Bottom of the monitor has a plastic brushed alluminum look Not too gamer look and fits in any desk setup. Seems like it has a tiny bezel and it does but there is still some space around the bezel with no screen.

> 3 dayI got this to game on my PS4 And it has been amazing. I feel like there is no input lag and there is no discernible motion blur In high FPS games. The colors look great, blacks dont look washed out, And it is plenty bright to game in a bright room. The built-in speakers arent not anything spectacular. But they got you buy if you dont want a game with a headset on.

> 3 dayA great monitor on my part for gaming but if you have a elevated platform on your desk the monitor will NOT look right. The top will be dark because the monitor is slanted so please before you buy get a monitor stand or wall mount

> 3 dayThe stand/base on this thing is really unstable, wobbly. It looks cool but any time my table shakes, the monitor wobbles even after a lot of tightening and double checking. I finally had to gorilla tape it to stay in place. The picture is great. When switching the monitor source the front buttons menus are complicated and it doesnt auto switch how I would expect so i just end up unplugging it and plugging in different monitors to make it work well. kind of a pain. I like Samsung monitors better. You just cycle through the sources with the push of a button on Samsung. You dont have to navigate through three levels of menus to get to the source menu. Samsung and many other monitor bases are not this wobbly/unstable. I wish I had gotten something different but this was highly rated with 144hz frame rate for gaming on a lot of sites. Oh well, its the little things that become a big pain.

> 3 dayLove it ! It’s a super nice monitor for the price . I love that it has 2 hdmi ports since I’m using them for console gaming. It has self picture quality adjustment on both the Xbox and ps5 they don’t share the same settings. It also auto detects the hdmi port which makes it super convenient

> 3 dayIve been using 2 of these for about a year and a half, one display for gaming and the other for utility (movies, discord, streaming, etc) and Ive had nothing but good luck with them. You get exactly what you pay for, a 1ms 75hz gaming monitor. Be aware you will not get 75 fps unless you change your windows settings, it defaults to 60. As for the price I think its a great value for someone getting into pc GAMING anything other than that I would recommend a different type of monitor all together. But for right around 100$ this is a great quality monitor. The color is pretty good, nothing to write home about but it was pretty good in my opinion, just remember this is a 1080p monitor and nothing more, dont expect 4k resolution. I use an NVIDIA card so I cant speak on behalf of the AMD freesync settings. The monitor itself has built in presets for colors but I very rarely used them, I found one that worked for me and stuck with it. The built in speakers are pretty bad, sounds like its being produced in a tincan, I highly recommend a secondary speaker set or a headset (or both) but something like that is to be expected around this price point. The only time I had any issue with the monitor was when I turned off V-sync, while it increased my FPS dramatically the screen tearing was very pronounced but thats what happens to any monitor thats being given more information than it can handle. In conclusion this is a great valued monitor that I would recommend to anyone who is starting off in PC gaming but doesnt want to spend an arm and a leg on peripherals.

> 3 dayAbsolutely amazed at the difference between a 32ich tv and this 27 inch monitor. The 1ms response makes a huge difference in games like PUBG and APEX LEGENDS. the free sync is actually recognized by my xbox one S and im ecstatic at the results! MAKE THE SWITCH! I cannot really compare this monitor with others because this is my first gaming monitor but i absolutely love it to be honest. no problems no noise. the only downside is the EXTREMELY QUIET speakers lol. but if you are a serious gamer you have a head set anyway. right? Movies look wonderful on this monitor as well.

> 3 dayI needed another monitor for editing photos and this delivers, I put 4 stars because you will have to mess with the settings because straight out the box it doesnt look as good but I finally got it to what it should look like and looks amazing.
