10-06-2025Horrible calibration by the factory make this a monitor for the enthusiast. You will have to spend quite a bit of time tuning this monitor. The good news is once its tuned its amazing. A few tips. Turn OFF Overdrive Turn On RGBcolor Black Boost 0 Super sharpness : Off Gamma 2.2 HDMI Black Level Normal. Then be sure to go into your graphics card setting and turn your monitor resoultion to 1980x1060 and make the refresh rate 75 Mhz. You will then have good color representation and a blindly bright display. The hardest part for me was turning the brightness down to a very low setting as to not feel lile my eyeball were on fire. It takes some getting used to going from a 20’ to 25’, but over all the added desk top space make it wonderful. You could use the blue light filter, but I felt the colors suffer when in this mode. Of course your setting will need to be tweaked to your preferences but hopefully this helps .

> 3 dayThis is my first gaming monitor after years of gaming on a large TV. I would buy again, especially for a second (chat or video editing) monitor. My ONLY issue is that I didnt realize it only had VGA and 2 HDMI ports. I wish it had a display port but HDMI works great too!

> 3 dayOrdered for my sons gaming setup. He wanted to go big and at 27 it is pretty huge compared to the 21 he was using previously. This is a nice look monitor with minimal bezel. This monitor worked great out of the box. No dead or floating pixels. This monitor does what it is supposed to do and at this price point it is a solid option.

> 3 dayI picked this particular monitor due to having a very similar bezel to the Acer Predator 27. The colors are great for web browsing and light gaming. I dont use it for heavy gaming sessions so I cannot attest to its performance for FPS games.

> 3 dayMonitor arrived in the standard monitor box with no additional outer protection. This was fine as it did appeared to have been handled well. Super simple set up. Its not high end, but for the price, its a good deal. Ive never had issues with Acer monitors, and I dont suspect I will with this unit. Im satisfied.

> 3 dayIts big. I didnt realize how big it actually was. Bought this to upgrade from a 21 or 24, I cant remember which. The screen is amazing. Not the best screen by far, but I like it. The speakers are terrible. Even at the highest volume I cant hear the whispering in movies. Other than that it does what it is supposed to. It does have a headphone jack that you can use, but I havent used it, so I cant say whether it is better or not. For the price I would recommend this but would also recommend a set of speakers if you do get it.

> 3 dayI have been gaming on 60Hz panels for a long time so I went with this monitor as an upgrade. The difference is night and day between the two in gaming. I think the biggest drawback of this monitor is the fact that its a TN panel with mediocre color accuracy and not so great viewing angles. The colors can be calibrated a bit in the Nvidia control panel though so it isnt a big deal. I would definitely say this is worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone looking into getting a higher refresh rate monitor.

> 3 dayGreat monitor , good size , picture quality is great, a big step up and difference from gaming on a tv, comes with all the cables you can attach to the monitor so that’s a plus , the speakers built in don’t get loud whats so ever if you don’t plan on using you headset all the time grab some speakers

> 3 dayI picked up this monitor for $100 while it was on sale. Its a beautiful picture and perfect refresh rate. The only thing I dont love is the speakers are not very loud at all. I use headphones most of the time so this isnt really an issue for me.

> 3 dayI bought this as an upgrade from an ancient 22 Dell monitor. Installing the base was simple and it came with the power cable, an HDMI cable, and VGA+Audio cables. I like the matte finish on the screen to reduce glare and it looks very nice overall. Once hooked up using the provided HDMI cable, the picture wasnt the best. The colors were washed out and scrolling webpages seemed to produce a ghosting effect. I found out through another review here that this was because of the overdrive feature. After I turned that off, the ghosting stopped. I also turned off the black boost and the color quality seemed to improve. The built-in speakers are about useless though. At max volume, I can barely hear any sound and it is very high-pitched. Also, be careful changing settings because some of them (Like the blue light filter) like to turn overdrive back on without telling you. Overall, Im pretty happy with my purchase. I got a really nice monitor without spending a fortune.
