> 3 dayI just requested Amazon to pickup (return) this POS product to Acer. Within 1 hour of unpackaging the monitor and setting it up, the monitor conked out on me. The issue appears to be the display port. The DVI seemed to work, but I plugged the monitor into several computers using the display port, and it would not detect any signal. The Display Port is where you get 144hz refresh, so not having this is huge. Im a little disappointed, because i heard Acer was a good brand for gamers, and this is my first venture into their brand, and probably the last. What a great first impression, Acer, thanks alot for wasting my time. I didnt even get a chance to play any games. I did have a chance to view the monitor for an hour. To be honest, i thought the screen looked a little funny. It had a different contrast than my other monitors that were hooked up, and it was noticeable. It looked as if the brightness was turned up all the way. I took a look to see if there were options to correct this, but couldnt figure it out... Anyways, long story short, here is my review - a POS monitor. I know my computers, and i know that its not my issue, its Acers.

> 3 dayGreat for 1080p 144hz gaming, but the picture quality out of the box requires some tweaking. I was not expecting too much going in from a TN panel, but its worst than expected. This could be due to the fact that I downgraded from a 4k@60 40 HDTV. Dont get me wrong its still an excellent monitor and g-sync works great. Additionally I was able to greatly improve the picture quality using Nvidia Freestyle. Gaming experience on this is night and day over my 4k monitor, high refresh gaming is truly an amazing experience. Refresh Rate Overclocking - It does 165hz with a simple overclock in the Nvidia Control Panel, I have it overclocked to 155hz for my everyday overclock. System(Custom Loop)- 3800X 4.5ghz 1080ti 2101/6100 16gb CL 3600mhz RAM X370 Motherboard

> 3 dayI have been gaming on 60Hz panels for a long time so I went with this monitor as an upgrade. The difference is night and day between the two in gaming. I think the biggest drawback of this monitor is the fact that its a TN panel with mediocre color accuracy and not so great viewing angles. The colors can be calibrated a bit in the Nvidia control panel though so it isnt a big deal. I would definitely say this is worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone looking into getting a higher refresh rate monitor.

> 3 dayI am a small time streamer that needed a second monitor with 144hz to match my gpus capabilities. It does its job and noticed immediately the difference between 60hz and 144hz. Bought it due to its price and will hold onto even when I upgrade to a more powerful monitor in the future.

Greater than one weekThe Acer Gaming Monitor is a perfect monitor for the listed price. A 1ms response time along with a maximum 75hz refresh rate combine for a deadly picture quality. Pros: -This particular monitor comes with solid buttons on the bottom right corner for power and menu options. Compared to the touch sensor found on other monitors, these buttons are very responsive and make way for a great range of picture enhancements all interchangable by the user. -Response time of 1ms means that you will get instantaneous changes in picture depending on what the user is doing. -The size of the monitor(23.6in) is great as you can scale from the native 16:9 to lower aspect ratios such as 4:3, perfect for adjusting to certain games or videos. Cons: -The stand that the monitor sits on prongs into 3 different directions, each about 4 inches long. Make sure desk space is ample enough to handle the area covered by these three legs. TL;DR This monitor is perfect for entry-level competitive gaming, and an excellent choice for any user looking for any kind of casual gaming experience. A fast response time paired with built in speakers creates an enjoyable environment that is most likely a step up from your previous monitor.

Greater than one weekWorked fantastic paired with my RX580 for a few months now it only works over HDMI. I tried multiple displayport outputs from my graphics card as well as multiple displayport cables (including a new one) and it doesnt recognize a signal from that input anymore. I have shipped it out to Acer support (still within its 1 year warranty) for a fix and am awaiting word on its condition/what went wrong. Before it stopped working over DP it was fantastic. 144hz and Freesync had me spoiled and now back on the HDMI is noticeably worse. Will update this review after I receive my fixed monitor from Acer support.

> 3 dayPicture was fine. Occasional random screen flicker that would be fixed with a computer restart. 34 months later, the dreaded white screen with nothing plugged in except the power cable. Google search shows this is a common issue with this model. Had to go back to a Samsun monitor at least six years old.

> 3 dayThe stand/base on this thing is really unstable, wobbly. It looks cool but any time my table shakes, the monitor wobbles even after a lot of tightening and double checking. I finally had to gorilla tape it to stay in place. The picture is great. When switching the monitor source the front buttons menus are complicated and it doesnt auto switch how I would expect so i just end up unplugging it and plugging in different monitors to make it work well. kind of a pain. I like Samsung monitors better. You just cycle through the sources with the push of a button on Samsung. You dont have to navigate through three levels of menus to get to the source menu. Samsung and many other monitor bases are not this wobbly/unstable. I wish I had gotten something different but this was highly rated with 144hz frame rate for gaming on a lot of sites. Oh well, its the little things that become a big pain.
