> 3 dayThis is a great monitor for the price. Its 1920x1080 with up to a 75hz refresh rate if you overclock it. Unfortunately I have a dead pixel already, less than four months after purchasing. Acers warranty will only replace the monitor if it has more than 4 degraded pixels per one million pixels. Since this is a 1920x1080 monitor, it consists of a total of 2,073,600 pixels. Which means I would need to have a total of 9 pixels degraded before Acer will even look at it. Very disappointing. I guess Ill have to try and fix the pixels myself and hope I dont create anymore degraded pixels in the process.

> 3 dayI bought this as an upgrade from an ancient 22 Dell monitor. Installing the base was simple and it came with the power cable, an HDMI cable, and VGA+Audio cables. I like the matte finish on the screen to reduce glare and it looks very nice overall. Once hooked up using the provided HDMI cable, the picture wasnt the best. The colors were washed out and scrolling webpages seemed to produce a ghosting effect. I found out through another review here that this was because of the overdrive feature. After I turned that off, the ghosting stopped. I also turned off the black boost and the color quality seemed to improve. The built-in speakers are about useless though. At max volume, I can barely hear any sound and it is very high-pitched. Also, be careful changing settings because some of them (Like the blue light filter) like to turn overdrive back on without telling you. Overall, Im pretty happy with my purchase. I got a really nice monitor without spending a fortune.

> 3 dayGreat monitor , good size , picture quality is great, a big step up and difference from gaming on a tv, comes with all the cables you can attach to the monitor so that’s a plus , the speakers built in don’t get loud whats so ever if you don’t plan on using you headset all the time grab some speakers

> 3 dayI bought it mainly for gaming so it succeeded in that department. The audio quality sucks but for a product that does very little to no advertising of its “audio” feature, it might as well should be considered a little bonus rather than a bad feature to be honest. Overall, its a five star since again, it succeeded what it advertises to do

> 3 dayI got the 144hz 27 monitor and it is fantastic! the speakers are meh but I bought it for gaming and the 144 from 60 hz is insane could never go back. The only issue I had was that my pc turned of but the monitor would stay on with the blue light instead of orange all I did was unplug the monitor and plug it back in and if that doesnt work leave it unplugged a bit then try other than that it was good. Also you probably want to buy a separate mount as theirs is not adjustable.

Greater than one weekLove my monitor for what it is. No issues using it and it;s exactly what I imagined it would be. I briefly used this with an RX 580 and Freesync was great, but the card underperformed so I switched to a GTX 1070 Ti. No fault of the monitor and losing Freesync sucks, but Freesync isnt as useful when the card itself cant push out the frames :) Love the colors, monitor looks great, 75Hz refresh with a 1ms response time is great at this price. This is primary monitor and an older 1080p 60Hz monitor is my secondary for productivity/streaming.

> 3 dayI have an Xbox One S and so does my wife. I bought 2 of these KG271 model monitors. Neither monitor worked with either Xbox. I tried 4 different HDMI cords from the standard cord that comes with the Xbox to a HDMI 3.0 and nothing worked with either Xbox. I even bought a HDMI to DP adapter and tried that and still did not work. I tried to plug my laptop into it via HDMI and it did not work either. If you are buying this monitor to use for a console then DO NOT waste your time. I have it 3 stars because I felt it was fair considering I am getting a refund however my time is being wasted. The monitor came with a DP cord, there should be an option to come with the HDMI or other. The monitor has this function where it auto scans for the input source and since it couldn’t detect the HDMI then it kept going into idle mode. I had to keep turning it on then timing it just before it shut off to switch the input. It was a pain and a huge waste of my time. As I said if you’re buying the KG271 series for a console, look elsewhere! I can’t speak for PC although my laptop did not work via HMDI but does not have a DP.

> 3 dayPrice is great for this decent monitor. Color is great; gaming is smooth. Only cons are that the audio is horrendous and monitor doesnt play netflix when connecting to a laptop via hdmi.

> 3 dayI needed another monitor for editing photos and this delivers, I put 4 stars because you will have to mess with the settings because straight out the box it doesnt look as good but I finally got it to what it should look like and looks amazing.

Greater than one weekI bout this display for $104.99 on Prime Day, but am now returning it. I only tested it for a few hours, but that was enough to make me certain that I dont want it. There are two big issues with this display. First, Im not entirely sure why, but my eyes hurt and I start to get a headache after using this screen for about half an hour. When I noticed my eyes starting to hurt, I turned it off for a few, and then when my eyes recovered I attempted to remedy the situation by adjusting the color, contrast, and brightness settings on the display. This unfortunately did not resolve the issue. I also tested the game out with a few games, and noticed considerable flicker behind images that I have never seen before. Ive used a 32-inch 1080p IPS TV and an old 22-inch 1440x900 TN display for the last several years, and never noticed this issue while playing games on either. You can also see minor amounts of flicker on webpages if you watch closely, but the flicker is much less noticeable here. It isnt enough to really bother anyone on web pages I think, but it certainly looked terrible in games. The speakers built into this monitor are also complete garbage. They arent very loud, even with the volume maxed, and you can hear significant distortion and echo while using the speakers. The displays menus are well laid out, the display itself looks nice, and it was easy to put together, but unfortunately these factors cant make up for the low-grade hardware used in the panels construction. ------------------Update--------------------- In response to the comments on this review, I thought I should leave some more detail. My brother purchased two of these display, so I can safely say that the one I received wasnt defective. After examining his, I noticed the same issues, and I could not adjust settings to resolve the issue. He is keeping both of this, however, whereas I returned mine for a full refund. It is possible that this display was just poorly suited for what I used it for. I planned to use the display mostly for work, but also to game on the side. I believe the eye strain actually came from reading text on the screen, and not so much from gaming. For games I tested the following and had these results. Shogun II: Total War = Horrible flickering, worse than I have ever seen before. Rome II: Total War = Moderate flickering Tomb Raider (2012) = No screen flicker/hardly noticeable. Fallout 4 = Moderate flicker Bioshock 2 Remastered = Minor flicker, minor enough to be ignored. I might also have been bothered by the flicker more than some, as the primary display I used before was IPS based and didnt have any flicker. My brother isnt plays different games than I do, and while I could see some flickering on the screen while watching him, it didnt bother him because his old display also had a certain amount of flicker. I probably would have kept it despite the flicker, even though it bothered me, but the eye strain was simply too much after a few hours and I knew it couldnt work for me. Your results may vary.
