Love this computer. Upgraded from a home built I put together over 5 years ago. Video from 1060GTX to a 3080RTX so...woohoo! Play Black Desert Online in remastered mode and it looks like a picture. Fan makes some noise as others have said, but I consider it minimal, its really not bad. Looks awesome, performs even better! Got a good deal on Prime Days, so Ive had it for around a month, (saved close to $600). Runs fine, temps midrange so liquid cooling doing its job. Again, its not all that loud. I use headphones for the game and I cant even hear it even though Im sitting right next to it. Would definitely recommend. (Ryzen 5900x, 32mb ddr4, 1tb ssd plus a 2tb hdd) I think this should last me awhile.

Ive had issues with this machine in terms of performance ever since I got it. Not only was the memory severely underclocked by default, I constantly get performance lag when I alt+tab between a game and a window. What is worse is that it will randomly crash my computer. I will click into a game window and everything freezes then shows red, blue, and green pixels leading to a blue screen crash. After contacting Dell Support the last time, the issue has only gotten worse. Maybe I just got bad parts but I cannot recommend buying this PC.

I purchased a used version from Amazon as Acceptable. It runs fine, but came with some nice Chinese Malware on it. Always run updated Defender in safe mode and wouldnt hurt to run Malwarebytes, but most importantly, always reinstall Windows yourself after getting pre-built systems.

*UPDATE* Dell customer support just told me this computer was already over 200 days old when I bought it nov 12. I wake up every single morning to this PC blue screened. The only things ive installed on it is discord, chrome and world of warcraft. Ive done all the windows updates. Ive updated drivers. Bios wont update. Tried to contact dell but it would hang up on me everytime I put in my PC number. Finally called and just said operator twice to talk to a human. A nice lady in India read me a script of trouble shooting tips that I could have googled so I hung up. Oh and the liquid cooling system has a tick tick, pause, tick tick, pause, tick tick, pause sound coming from it.. Dont buy alienware no matter what kind of deal you can get on it.

Getting into gaming on PC and wanted the best bang for the buck so I bought this computer! Very happy with this computer! Can’t even build one from Alienware for this price. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

I think its very important to first say that since addressing the issues the PC has been an absolute dream outside of some crackling from certain Audio Interfaces. Dell should really focus on the first impressions when building/working on these PCs as mine almost drove me to return it immediately. On first startup, the PC lagged, stuttered and bluescreened multiple times. It was absolutely terrifying considering the almost $2,500 price-point. Although after uninstalling all of the bloatware that comes preinstalled with Windows 11 and these Alienware PCs, as well as updating the BIOs. I have yet to experience any of these problems again. But if someone with less tech knowledge were to buy this, in my opinion: DONT. It takes too much extra work to get it to run well, too much fine tuning. If you do have more experience, Id recommend just building one yourself because the experience that I had to go through to just get it to run right was just as much effort as building a PC yourself.

Amazing in its dept of design and flexablity of technology. A power house to enslave the masses with liquid cool Ai for the mind. The LG 34 Ultra Gear with dazzling speed and awsome gaming response makes palatible eye candy pop on the screen before the next foe stills your dreams. Yes the senses are never satisfied as they real from a never ending story of human tragedy. You want to look away amazed from the near instantaneous boot up to internet access, and then your hooked again on meaningless hours of play. Dont blink, you might lose it all, in a cascade of color and combat gaming second to none, explore the galaxies of your minds eye and realize this Tower of Babble is a reflections of humanity speaking with a two edged sword. You are the victor and the loser as your mind is hooked on the sweeties eye candy on the planet while defending the realm. Pedal to the metal over clocking your Alien R14 liquid cool and your horizons seem limitless until the power goes out again. Happy trails!

Got it and gamed on it all day and night. Then, after doing the Dell/Alienware updates it immediately started freezing. I read online that uninstalling & disabling all the Dell/Alienware utilities worked for others. That seems to have worked for me. The only other problem Ive had is crackly audio. I tried everything to. Nothing worked. Theres a headphone jack in the front panel of the PC. I switched to that one & that immediately fixed that crackling audio. So, this means I still have the crackling audio problem if I were to use the ports in the back. I even tried an external audio device.

Never had a NEW PC that takes 3 min to start from time to time, and occasionally runs into a blue screen when its idle and needs to restart.

Received computer, set it up and ran it for 24 hours, over night I am guessing it performed windows updates or something but it was stuck at black screen. Contacted dell who, trouble shoot issue and said mobo was bad. They refused to replace entire thing they wanted to send out a 3rd party tech who may or may not be competent enough to basically replace the heart of the computer, then put everything back properly including CPU and liquid cooling.... No thanks. I called Amazon and they had replacement sent out immediately. Otherwise great system for the price.
