In RVs the overhead bins are high and deep in most cases. I needed to get a flashlight to see in them so I purchased some aluminum track, glued it in place, placed the led tape in this track to help heat dissipation. using a button switch from amazon i now have great light when opening the door. The light is even across and not in my eyes as I placed them away to shine back. Ordered two more rolls and am now busy lighting all cabinets and drawers in my motorhome.

Purchased for deck lighting on my bass boat. Very bright and easy to install. Also used them in the deck boxes.

They are bright. and not to expensive but they dont stick to well to wood at least

These LEDs are great and just what I wanted. I installed 5 rolls under my 40 5th Wheel for some under-glow lighting and they look awesome. The adhesive seems to be holding up really well, I installed these in April and have pulled the camper about 500 miles since then without issue. Cleaned the frame with brake cleaner before installing. Having wires at both ends is great for short runs where you need two pieces. I will let the pics speak for the product.

adhesion, for me, was subpar. it may be the paint at my house though - the lights themselves are great. PLEASE NOTE this is simply an add on to existing light strands and does not come with any power plug in for outlets

Well, Im bummed. I read some of the reviews about these lights and noticed the listing said that, due to complaints, they have upgraded the adhesive to 3M VHB Foam Back Tape instead of the red stuff you see in the images. Well, I ordered three of these for a project to light the interiors of some garage cabinets, got everything installed and working, and the next day opened up the cabinets to find them falling off everywhere. I keep a roll of super-sticky double-sided tape that I used to strategically place better adhesive on top of the products adhesive and now they are holding up. Lights work great otherwise. Just disappointed about the adhesive.

*Edit* This company took care of our issues. They replaced the rolls quickly so that we could have two rolls of working lights. so thankful for their quick customer service. The new rolls work great! I bought two rolls and both were defective. I have installed led strips in dozens of applications and this is by far the worst product I have used. After cutting to length the strips will not stay lit when using solderless connections. The contact patch doesn’t work and after replacing the connections and even recutting to a new joint there was no improvement. I would recommend you find a more robust product or expect to spend hours of troubleshooting only to scrap the entire project.

I have purchased many many strings of rgb leds and the adhesive on them were always hit or miss. This strand by Alitove has a foam tape backing which seems to be much stronger then just the normal adhesive glue. This will also give it some insulation if you are planning to put this on metal (I have had other strips short out through the adhesive before). All the leds light up and are displaying the correct colors with the control I tested with. Only time will tell if they are reliable long term, but they feel much better made then many other brands.
