Total garbage. Cheap Chinese junk. Seller states that they use high quality double sided tape. The tape is junk, doesnt have the 3M logo and the lights fell off. Returned for a refund. Tape on this product is not 3M VBH tape. The seller should be required to remove this statement from the items description! 【3M VHB Foam Back Tape】 Based on buyers’ feedback on adhesive issue, we upgraded the tape to 3M VHB heavy duty foam mounting tape. It is much more sticky and durable than blue or white tapes which is widely used by other brands. Never fall off. ( Heating the tape with heat gun or hair dryer will make it more sticky.)

Great lights. I added them on the outside of the gunnel on my boat. They light up the top of the water very bright at night. These lights have a very good sticky foam tape strip on them but it is not a 3m strip as advertised. 3m tape come with 3m red plastic backing and this does not have. That being said, the tape they use still is very good.

Very bright looks great! The only issue I had, was there nowhere on the instructions did it say the wattage in order to figure out what size fuse to install it at shemales I didn’t that ass de DC amp meter.. I was surprised it was not marked on the box or package anywhere the Watts? Other than that great product.

Decent brightness, nice color temperature. This one did not come with the 3M sticky backing and as you can see from the photo the black sticky stuff can come off the less while you are pulling the red plastic off. The description or a review said they switched to 3m, but that is not what got sent to me. I got some deep orange as well and that did come with 3m adhesive. Be prepared to use your own adhesive. I will use a little silicone in spots or everywhere if gravity pulls it down.

I like it but it is more orange than Red. I am a little concerned that it might not be legal on the rear of my car where there is only supposed to be red lights.

I needed very small LED red lights for a project. these worked perfectly.

These lights are pure junk like others have said. I had the lights wired into a junction box and off that junction box mater switch it powered a smaller rocker switch which turned on/off the leds. The lights worked fine for a day or two then just stopped working. When the junction box main switch is flipped the DC voltage was reading 13.2 V (voltage gauge is in box cluster panel) when the lights were turned on the voltage i believe dropped to 12.7V. So voltage /everything should not have been an issue . When the lights were working they were very hot /warm which was a concern to how long they should be used for. After i finished wiring them in i switched off the led strip switch but kept the panel on the next day went to flip the switch to the leds and they were dead. I boutht 2 of these strips .that was 2 too many. never again

They are bright. They have a nice silicone cover. I like that they have additional wires off the end. It allows you to use the left over piece if you dont use the entire roll. Quality control is a little lacking. The double sided tape was coming off the strip as you unrolled it. Out of 5 rolls, I had 2 instances where the double sided foam tape stuck to the backing for a couple inches. Not a huge deal in one application as they were laying flat, facing up. The other application, time will tell. The last problem was poor shrink wrap at the connector. If QC was a little better with better double sided tape, it would get another star.

Edit 1, 2/13/20 ; removing backing is extremely difficult, the best method I found was to take a razor blade somwhere middle of a strip, NOT AT AN EDGE!, and try to find a magic spot that will peel up the red liner/backing only , tedious and hit n miss, but succesful so far. if you try this at the end of a strip, it will probably just separate the black stikem pad and ruin the strip, as far as sticking to something goes. My guess is that his run or the entire product selection is from 10 or 15 year old stock, as the sticky substance has leached into the red backing plastic and all has tried to become one. I had to take off two stars , especially since the vendor must know what he has here, I dont see how this could be some suprise to them.. ======= Inititial review: I hope these hold up, will report back later, very impressed. I have a cheap lense that I tried Daylight (DW SMDs) , all I got was kind of pinkish light, mocked these up real quick, and wow!! I can use the DW to light up the motor on my bike, reds will be used on my after market tour pack, took off the original as it is quite a lot of weight, and dont need that much storage..
