> 3 dayI bought two of these to put one on each side of my pontoon boat. We stuck them to the upper portion of the pontoon and then covered in clear silicon to help waterproof and bond them to the pontoon. So far, they are working great. Do keep in mind though that even though they are LEDs, they pull 60w at 5 amps according to their specs. I had to put mine on their own circuit which worked out well.

> 3 dayRe-write of review....like others I have had the same problem with leds detaching, they work well but was hoping I had the answer for the adhesive issue, guess not. :( I will gorilla glue it back on tomorrow. Shipped quick and everything came together. Probably didnt need to order the extra add-ons that were suggested (did not use) but did use about six feet of the plain wire suggested for the short run to the power source. Adhesion seems to be mentioned quite a bit in other comments. I used a alcohol pad but you could use alcohol and a clean rag to clean the surface your adhering to....I had to pull off about 3 feet to fix a gap I left under a little section and it pulled off way to easy but I re-attached and it is holding up fine. It was the perfect size for a golf cart roof with about 18 leftover.....cut it and added my plain wire to power/switch and it works great. Very bright!!!

> 3 dayThese lights are pure junk like others have said. I had the lights wired into a junction box and off that junction box mater switch it powered a smaller rocker switch which turned on/off the leds. The lights worked fine for a day or two then just stopped working. When the junction box main switch is flipped the DC voltage was reading 13.2 V (voltage gauge is in box cluster panel) when the lights were turned on the voltage i believe dropped to 12.7V. So voltage /everything should not have been an issue . When the lights were working they were very hot /warm which was a concern to how long they should be used for. After i finished wiring them in i switched off the led strip switch but kept the panel on the next day went to flip the switch to the leds and they were dead. I boutht 2 of these strips .that was 2 too many. never again

> 3 dayIf youre looking for bright LED strips, these are not it. The tape on the back is not that great either and that is on a surface that has been correctly prepped with alcohol.

> 3 day*Edit* This company took care of our issues. They replaced the rolls quickly so that we could have two rolls of working lights. so thankful for their quick customer service. The new rolls work great! I bought two rolls and both were defective. I have installed led strips in dozens of applications and this is by far the worst product I have used. After cutting to length the strips will not stay lit when using solderless connections. The contact patch doesn’t work and after replacing the connections and even recutting to a new joint there was no improvement. I would recommend you find a more robust product or expect to spend hours of troubleshooting only to scrap the entire project.

> 3 dayIt only worked for six months before it started having segments fail. Now about only half of the led strip works.

> 3 dayThe strip is good quality and is easy to cut for length. Although the glue is supposedly improved, most of the one I received didnt have glue on it so you will most likely have to glue it yourself.

> 3 dayWorked fantastic although I did get 3M tape double sided just to make sure everything stuck for a real long time haven’t had any problems with that for the last couple of months
