> 24 hourIts ARB.... What do you expect? Fit great on the engine cover mount in my JL, wired to my RC ML6 switch bank, and extended the hose. Super happy!

> 24 hourIt happened to me both with the current locker, and with the one I had in my previous Toyota Prado, that it started to leak air, and they had to open, clean, and reinstall them.

> 24 hourThis compressor is highly thought of, but I found several issues that I would not expect in a high end product: 1) The housing at the outlet port appears to be made of cast aluminium, and cracked causing a huge air leak. 2) The steel shroud protecting the outlet side of the compressor unnecessarily interferes with the installation of a fitting to the outlet port. 3) The electrical connectors connecting the wire loom to the compressor are difficult to lock. On the positive side, this compressor fits into small spaces, and is pretty easy to install. I am exchanging the compressor for a replacement, and will update this review if necessary after I receive the replacement. UPDATE, FEBRUARY 8, 2018: I have received and installed the replacement compressor. Sexton accepted the faulty compressor back with no hassle whatsoever. Given the good response, I have upgraded my overall rating from 3 to 4 stars, For those thinking about running any sort of air tools from this compressor, you will definitely need an air tank. Dont count on more than a 20% to 40% duty cycle as this compressor cant keep up with any more. This is not a fault, this compressor does everything that it was designed to do. It is fine for inflating tires, air mattresses, etc. I am able to run a pneumatic impact wrench in short bursts to remove lug nuts with the addition of a small (500 ml) air tank. Overall, I would buy this compressor again.

> 24 hourSetup is rather intensive, but ARB gives you everything you need (except the butt connectors). I was able to mount it in on a plastic interior panel in the rear cargo area of my Jeep Cherokee XJ. Its loud and gets REALLY hot, but it works great and has given me no problems since I installed it a few months ago. It will fill one 31 x 10.50 tires from 12 to 33 psi in 1 min, 45 seconds.

> 24 hourIt is nice to have on-board air, it is better when it is quick! Everything you need is included, except a mounting bracket. You will have to find one specific to the vehicle, have one made, or fab it yourself. I use this often, a few times a month. I typically air down to a little under 20 psi on 265/70/17 BFG ATs. It takes me just under 10~ minutes to stop, prep, and fill my tires back to 38 psi. Note: my truck is less than a year old, I still have my stock battery, I have to leave the engine running. It would fair far better with a larger capacity battery installed.

> 24 hourComes with wiring harness for the compressor and also built into the harnes 2 more switches for your air lockers and also comes with one rocker switch and a wiring diagrams the only trouble I had wiring was what the diagram said “ignition” that held me up for a couple of hours I ended up splicing it to the cigaret lighter because it only turns on when the key is in the ignition. You will need to buy seprate the tire inflator kit in order to use it as a compressor also u will need a tank if you wish to run air tools if u don’t want to use a tank get the arb twin compressor it can work your air tools at a constant rate.

> 24 hourFirst, if I could give it 6 stars, I would. Before the nitty gritty details get fleshed out, you will love this compressor. Set up: it is very important to spend time to choose a location in/on your vehicle that is cool and within your skill set. If you choose the rear of your vehicle you will need large Guage battery wire to add onto the supplied wire (which is more than long enough for installation in the engine bay). If you choose to run the switch into your dash you will need to prepare, find two connections (an ignition source and power source). This means you need to have adequate skills to run wires through the firewall, find and splice wires, and cut an opening to mount the switch. Do yourself a favor: be prepared with a plan before you begin installation. Connections: I chose to keep the switch and all components in the engine bay, as seen in the picture. That said, Jeeps have gigantic engine bays. I used a fuse add a circuit. It cost $10 at Autozone and it took about 3 minutes to connect. I would recommend the same approach if you choose to install into the dash, it is that easy. Mechanical connections; it comes with all you need to set up but you will to buy the specific pieces you need for your setup (again, PLAN ahead). Use: I have 31 tires. It took me longer to let air out than the compressor did to inflate them. I aired down to 10psi then inflated to 45psi, it was done in about 10 minutes. Get yourself a Guage pressure tool and you will cut at least 1 minute off. In that ten minutes the compressor reached a few hundred degrees ( I know because I accidently touched it, big dummy). So, again, find a cool and open location. I am seriously amazed. The finished installation runs around $300, depending on your custom setup. For an inexpensive option this tool is well built and performs its given function quite well. I want one for each of my other vehicles. Buy it, NOW.

> 24 hourThe overall kit is great. ARB installation instructions are pitifully inadequate but luckily there are online resources that are written or demonstrated clearly. However, the pump itself is a premium item and comes with everything you need for most installations with options for an air line and lockers. The air pump up kit really has only three items of value; the hose and chuck. The other items, the inflator tips, are of suspect quality and poor materials and are not likely to last their first use. So I knocked off one star.
