> 3 daySetup is rather intensive, but ARB gives you everything you need (except the butt connectors). I was able to mount it in on a plastic interior panel in the rear cargo area of my Jeep Cherokee XJ. Its loud and gets REALLY hot, but it works great and has given me no problems since I installed it a few months ago. It will fill one 31 x 10.50 tires from 12 to 33 psi in 1 min, 45 seconds.

> 3 dayThe ARB twin compressor is impressive. I had a a Viar in my old Jeep and it did it’s job but I wanted a higher end compressor so this seemed like a good choice. It dropped my air up time from 16 minutes to only 5. That’s fantastic. I thought that the install was pretty straightforward. I used a mount made specifically for my TJ and have it over my engine. Wiring it up was really easy with ARB’s harness and switch. The only things I didn’t like, was that there are no fittings included to connect to an air hose and that I had to use an extension nipple to get past the cover to connect a quick disconnect.

> 3 dayDoes precisely what I need it to do. I use it to air up my 35x12.5x17 tires. Does not take that long at all.

Greater than one weekIt seems that this was only meant for lockers. Using this to inflate tires appears to be a poorly thought out after thought. There is an over priced tire inflation kit. But you can buy a 1/4 NPT tee and put it the pressure sensor port and then have the air sensor and hose fitting on the tee. Most likely, everyone that buys this is going to need to modify the wiring harness to make it work. Since there are no kits you have to figure out what you need and where to get it. I tested it by dropping one of my 35” tires 10 psi then filling it. It took about a minute to get it back to 36 psi.

> 3 dayBought the ARB single stage compressor to air up after a day on the trail. Got tired of waiting for my portable to do the job. Installation was easy and the result was as expected. I like it.

Greater than one weekThe overall kit is great. ARB installation instructions are pitifully inadequate but luckily there are online resources that are written or demonstrated clearly. However, the pump itself is a premium item and comes with everything you need for most installations with options for an air line and lockers. The air pump up kit really has only three items of value; the hose and chuck. The other items, the inflator tips, are of suspect quality and poor materials and are not likely to last their first use. So I knocked off one star.

> 3 dayThis compressor is great, and I would expect nothing less from a company like ARB. I mounted it under the hood of my 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ, and use it strictly for airing back up after a day on the trails. Will air up all 4 tires from 15psi to 35psi in about 10 minutes. Not bad considering the space and cost of this unit. Will also run air lockers if you choose to go that route. Not much else to say, it is just a compressor. The harness that came with the unit is great, really made for a simple and easy install. Switch fit into the stock TJ blank switch spots with slight modifications (nothing a small file couldnt fix). Worth the money by far. The only gripe I have about it, is that I didnt install it sooner :)

> 3 dayI dont understand the less than 5 star reviews. This is the best small compressor unit out there; nothing else comes close. It has a fan and a 100% duty cycle. I have mine mounted under the passenger seat of my Jeep and use it primarily to air up tires (with smaller compressor it takes a while to air up a 40 tire!). I also have it tied into my air locker manifold and can operate the lockers also. I recommend plumbing this into separate tank of 1 to 2 gallons. That way when moving from tire to tire it will keep running and build up air in the tank. The compressor shuts off at 150 and starts when the air pressure drops below 130. If you do not need that kind of pressure ARB also sells a 70/100 switch. It is imperative that you wire this properly as it draws a heavy current - each motor has its own 40 Amp fuse. I needed longer wires to mount it where I did and used a few ft of 8 Gauge wire. This is not a kit and is just the bare compressor and wiring. You will need to rig up a discharge line, quick coupler and hose to put it to use. I also like the fact that it is built in Australia and not China.
