> 3 dayArb compressor is known for its durability and quality. I bought the single compressor for my 2019 4runner. Installation process was not so easy but i watched enough youtube videos prior to actual installation. The compressor fills up my 265 70/17 tire from 18psi to 35psi under 2 minutes. The only disappointment is that the compressor came in beat up box that looks like someone dropped it and wrap again. Everyrhing inside was ok and new.

> 3 dayI am creating a overlanding hybrid vehicle out of my 2018 Nissan Titan. Finally got this installed took some effort and some help from a friend who is a beast at fabrication at Distinctive Designz was able to get this mounted under the truck tucked right behind the gas tank. Ran hoses for the front and back and filter hoses. It works perfectly and is very convient having my own air for any number of reasons.

> 3 dayI dont understand the less than 5 star reviews. This is the best small compressor unit out there; nothing else comes close. It has a fan and a 100% duty cycle. I have mine mounted under the passenger seat of my Jeep and use it primarily to air up tires (with smaller compressor it takes a while to air up a 40 tire!). I also have it tied into my air locker manifold and can operate the lockers also. I recommend plumbing this into separate tank of 1 to 2 gallons. That way when moving from tire to tire it will keep running and build up air in the tank. The compressor shuts off at 150 and starts when the air pressure drops below 130. If you do not need that kind of pressure ARB also sells a 70/100 switch. It is imperative that you wire this properly as it draws a heavy current - each motor has its own 40 Amp fuse. I needed longer wires to mount it where I did and used a few ft of 8 Gauge wire. This is not a kit and is just the bare compressor and wiring. You will need to rig up a discharge line, quick coupler and hose to put it to use. I also like the fact that it is built in Australia and not China.

> 3 dayThis is probably the best on board air compressor you can find on market. It is really powerful even for ait tools. Yes you need to have certain skills to install it. Can be use for air horn, locking differential, adjusting wheels pressure for different off road condition.

> 3 dayThis compressor is highly thought of, but I found several issues that I would not expect in a high end product: 1) The housing at the outlet port appears to be made of cast aluminium, and cracked causing a huge air leak. 2) The steel shroud protecting the outlet side of the compressor unnecessarily interferes with the installation of a fitting to the outlet port. 3) The electrical connectors connecting the wire loom to the compressor are difficult to lock. On the positive side, this compressor fits into small spaces, and is pretty easy to install. I am exchanging the compressor for a replacement, and will update this review if necessary after I receive the replacement. UPDATE, FEBRUARY 8, 2018: I have received and installed the replacement compressor. Sexton accepted the faulty compressor back with no hassle whatsoever. Given the good response, I have upgraded my overall rating from 3 to 4 stars, For those thinking about running any sort of air tools from this compressor, you will definitely need an air tank. Dont count on more than a 20% to 40% duty cycle as this compressor cant keep up with any more. This is not a fault, this compressor does everything that it was designed to do. It is fine for inflating tires, air mattresses, etc. I am able to run a pneumatic impact wrench in short bursts to remove lug nuts with the addition of a small (500 ml) air tank. Overall, I would buy this compressor again.

> 3 dayExcellent 12v air compressor. Im so impressed with it that I would never buy a different one, except maybe the twin version. This one has been so useful! I use it to air up tires at the end of a trail, blow dust off of gear, and inflate my air mattress. Ive had mine installed and working for over a year now. Install was a breeze thanks to the unique mounting system. I have mine mounted inside a small hard case that I mounted in the back of my 2005 Frontier. My only complaint was the instructions, which assume youre using it to power ARBs air lockers. The supplied wiring and hardware is great, but I had already installed a relay block and auxiliary fuse box, so I had to figure out how to make the compressor work with my pre-installed wiring. Overall though, the install was very smooth and pretty easy. The design of the compressor is fantastic and feels very solid. I would not ever worry about how long it would last. Performance out of it has been nothing short of outstanding. Its filled up my tires as well as many friends tires at the ends of countless off road adventures and has yet to have an issue. It does get warm but never overheats, even after very prolonged use. I can fill my 285/75R16s from 20 PSI to 42 PSI in about 2 minutes per tire, which is great. It has limited use with a blower nozzle, but thats just because I dont have a tank rigged up to it. For my purposes though, its good enough without the tank. Overall, I cant recommend highly enough. Its become one of my main essentials now.

> 3 dayHad a hiccup with it where it leaked in the second wheeling trip I took it on. But it somehow self healed miraculously and works great again, runs the lockers and airs up my 42s just fine. About to out another one in my tow rig to run its new air lockers and such as well. I did contact ARB and they got back to me asap and were willing to replace it as well. Seems a seal got hit after airing up 2 large tires back to back and leaked a bit.

Greater than one weekWorks great , installed as an Air up compressor on my 2019 Jeep JLU Rubicon , Had to repurpose a bracket from a rear tire carrier light bracket due to ARB hasn’t made anything for the new Jeeps , had to extend Hot wire to reach the battery as well as the red wire from the harness to my accessories switch under the glove box , took a couple hrs , but all in all I’m really pleased how it came out . Hope this review helps .

> 3 dayI just sold a vehicle which had an ARB compressor and it got a LOT of use over 5 years, so I didnt have to think twice about getting another one for my new vehicle. You know there is plenty of thought put into the kit and an eye toward quality when you see how well the wiring loom is put together, which makes for an easy and clean installation.

> 3 dayBest compressor on the market. I installed airbags on my truck and priced compressor systems. The brand our local tire shop recommended cost twice as much for worse performance. Now I have a much better product with more versatility. Well worth every penny.
