> 24 hourWe have a laptop computer ( 3 months old ) that our kids broke. The screene was inpacted with a piece of furniture and cracked. Replacement from a retailor would have cost $300 to $600 dollars. I looked up the serial number on Amazon and found a replacement screene. It was easy to find, it was easy to order, and the screene was delievered with in a weeks time. The screene works great. The cost was @ $100 dollars. I would highly recommand this product to everyone. Thank you, Lisa B

> 24 hourDont waste your time or money going to a computer repair shop to have the display replaced. This is the perfect replacement display and easy to do yourself. I removed the old display and put this one in, it looks like I just bought a new laptop.

> 24 hourI had a little bit disappointment experience with this purchase. Though the panel works perfectly, there was a 2-3 long scratch mark at front panel display on the lower right that can bee seen when panel turns black. I emailed to let them know. Their customer service was quite nice and responsive. He gave me a choice to send back for an exchange or to keep it with $15 back. I decided to choose the latter one since I did not want to waste time undoing the panel installation, sending it back and waiting another 5-7 days to get a new one. Another surprise was the version of the panel. I ordered V.2 instead I received V.6. The seller informed me that there is no longer producing the V.2 and V.6 is the replacement and compatible. It seems to work so far.

> 24 hourThis product is a virtual replica of my laptops original screen! There are no dead pixels or other problems. The screen arrived in great condition, sealed and protected. All I did was plug in the connector and it worked! The only small defect I noticed is that the screen itself is tilted ever-so-slightly to the right. This is barely noticable, and can probably be fixed by adjusting the metal holders on the laptop itself. Overall I am still very satisfied! To all of those afraid to D.I.Y.: I highly recommend replacing a screen like this yourself! Despite what others may say it takes 10-15 minutes max from start to finish. You can save $100 or more by not paying somebody else to install it! You dont need to know anything technical; just have a phillips-head screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver or small razor. A video of this process can be seen here: [...] Put simply: 1) Remove the small rubber or plastic coverings around the edge of the screen. 2) Unscrew the screws below those coverings. 3) Gently pry apart the panel in front of the screen from the rear laptop lid. 4) Remove the screws holding the screen in place. 5) Remove the broken screen and disconnect the wire plugged into the screen. 6) Plug the new screen into that wire. Do the opposite of Steps 4 to 1 and youre done! Hope this helps! (My laptop is a Gateway NV57)

> 24 hourThis was a great replacement for a decent price. I replaced the screen myself following the directions from a video online. Took me less than an hour. I had been working on a screen that was about 2/3 viewable and now it is as good as new!

> 24 hourI recommend this screen to anyone who needs an Acer replacement screen. I had to replace my original screen because i cracked it while pressing it in to stop it from flickering. It was very, very easy to install, and works just like the original screen. TWO THUMBS UP......

> 24 hourBought this to replace an lcd panel in an hp pavilion dv6-3010us. When searching for laptop model number you find panels that are more expensive, however, when you remove the laptop panel, you find the exact panel model number and brand. Thats how I found this. Replaced the panel, works great, looks brand new, and it allowed me to get further profit from my sale.

> 24 hourI recently broke the screen on my Dell laptop and starting shopping around to have it repaired. After several quotes in the $400 to $600 range I decided to look into replacing the screen myself. I am the least mechanical person I know but I was not willing to pay more for a screen replacement than the original cost of the laptop. I searched online and emailed several merchants that carried the product I was looking for. The email responses from ViewOne were prompt, professional and very helpful. They verified that they had the screen that I needed in stock and I placed the order on Tuesday afternoon...The screen arrived the NEXT DAY! I live in a remote area and nothing ever gets here in one day...EVER! It was very well packaged and was an exact match for my old screen. I replaced the screen and put the laptop back together and it works perfect. I wont get into how to replace a laptop screen because there are a lot of tutorials online. I will say that it was not very difficult even for a tech idiot like me. Be patient, use a small screwdriver and do it yourself.
