> 24 hourThis was an automatic buy for us after we all loved the first one so much and it hasnt disappointed! Love the mix of traditional Western and Chinese childrens songs, which is helpful for a bilingual family where some caregivers only speak English but can still sing along and not feel left out. The translations to Chinese lyrics are quite well done, too. Best of all, the volume is manageable and the singing is good music, so much better than your typical annoying noise-making kids toy. Its only been a day since I introduced it and my almost 3 year old son (normally a bit more hesitant to speak Chinese than English) is already picking up some of these songs to sing in Chinese.

> 24 hourThis is the second time we bought a Bao Bao book. Our little one LOVES them! The only issue was the plastic musical part on the book didnt have enough glue and fell off. Its okay though, we just play it separately and can glue it on again if desired. This author did a really great job with the music, pictures and song choice for both books. If only there were more great bilingual Chinese/English books to buy on Amazon.

> 24 hourWe love this book so much that it is our go-to gift for friends, family and our local school. Very kid and parent friendly to use. The speed of the songs is perfect to sing along to and the illustrations are so cute. Highly recommend for any bilingual family.

> 24 hourSo glad I found this book!! We have been always a Chinese speaking family but my son didn’t learn much from us. He did tho, learn to sing every song in this book. He’s enjoying it so much and he will fall asleep easily to some of his favorite songs. It connects him emotionally so he learns better and likes it better than any other teaching materials. Thanks for making such a wonderful song book for all the little Chinese learners!!

> 24 hourWe own both the red and blue versions from this author. It really seems like a lot of careful consideration was put into the creation of these books. Both books are well made and I appreciate the attention to detail in having 2 volume settings. I also really like the songs included in each book. Because my son is already familiar with the Western songs, I think it made it more approachable to try to learn familiar songs in Mandarin Chinese. The words are printed in a few different ways to make it easy for someone to follow and sing along. I will most likely be purchasing this book to gift to family and friends with small children in the future.

> 24 hourLove these little books! One was slightly damaged on the corner but I was too excited to use them to request a refund. Weve had great fun singing along to the songs. The recordings sounds great and the illustrations are lovely. I love that it has English, pinyin and characters, its perfect for someone like me whose Chinese isnt perfect.

> 24 hourThis book is awesome! My daughter is 18 months & she loves this book - there is a high & low volume — three western songs that most people know + 3 songs that are popular for kids in China ~ she recognizes the tune & dances to each song.

> 24 hourLet me tell you, my daughter LOVES music and this book has quickly become her favorite! She is 2.5 and loves that it has songs she already knows (and a few new ones) but it helps her connect with the songs even if they are in a language she doesn’t know. She sings some of the words of songs she’s always singing now in mandarin (or best she can mimic it), it’s the sweetest thing and really has me thinking she could pick up a language if I worked on it with her through songs and rhymes! I am loving it too because I can sing along (best I can) thanks to the phonetic spelling of each word! I may not get it all correct but it’s fun to try and I find myself thinking of the mandarin when I sing the English!

> 24 hourMy sons already sing most of the song, so funny hearing then sing. The book is great. My only complain is that the right part came off from the book after two weeks of use. It should be paste better.
